Keamy - "My name is Private Smith" Keamy walked through the desert dust that swept ed rapidly around him, he was in a sand storm he didn't know what to do, accept walk and hope for the best. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hours have past Keamy was still treking through the dirt, he was really thirsty his throat was dry and he sweat, drops of sweat crawled down his forehead and ran into his eyes. "I hate Iraq" He sighed "What happened to Sawyer?" Roaring begun to rumble from in the distance, Keamy couldn't see what was making the noise but it did sound very familiar. Keamy could now see a load of vehicles traveling in his direction, US tanks and trucks approached him, they stopped. "Where's your squad soldier?" a man shouted. "My name is Private Smith, I split up from my Squad a few kilometers back I was heading to the nearest town" Keamy answered. The soldiers spoke for a while amongst themselves, they started to argue, after a few minutes standing alone staring at them Keamy approached the men. "Hey, get down now?" The commanding officer screamed at Keamy pointing his gun at him, "Private Miller, Private Joinson get down here and handcuff this man" Two other men ran toward Keamy, holding there guns and pointing them straight at Keamy. "What's the problem, why are you cuffing me?" Keamy was confused he didn't want to cause any trouble with the US army. "You expect us to be leave your story Mr? Your not even in the right uniform, your in the colors of the Republican Guard" "This is a misunderstanding please I can explian, I'm a American" "Put him with the rest of them" the man shouted at his soldiers " Keep moving and watch out for the mines". "Omar?" Ben said inquisitively. "Is Mikhail there?" "No, just me, Gabriel and Locke." The connection was poor, and Ben could barely see Omar. "What's the matter, you're breaking up a little. Where is the island?" "I'm not sure, sir, it's been moved." Ben nodded patiently. No kidding, he thought. He ordered his thoughts while sipping on a mojito. "OK. Listen, Omar. It appears to me that The Stanhopes are not as faithful as I thought they would be. I need you to keep an eye on them. Your time with Widmore's men is over. It's time to come home. I want you to assimilate with my island team. I need you to watch them closely. I want to know what they are planning. And when I return, I need to know whether I can trust them." "Yes, sir." "You said Gabriel was there, and Locke?" Through the fuzz, Ben saw Omar nod. "Do you have any idea where the island is now?" "North. Or maybe south. It's cold. Real cold." "Is it dark?" "Yeah, darker than it should be. All day it's dark." "Then it's north. I need the coordinates," he said as the screen went blank. After several moments, Omar was back on the screen. "We don't have much time. The lines are probably freezing. John," he said, and John Locke's face appeared before the camera. "I have something for you to do, but the timing is very important. Today is the 29th. I want you to join with my people. In one week, on the 5th of November, I have something for you to do at 6 pm GMT. It has to be 6 pm precisely, do you understand?" "What is it?" __________________________________________________ "And Gabriel," Ben said after detailing to Locke what he was to do, "You have an important mission as well. Perhaps even more important..." ___________________________________________ Ben barely finished detailing the information to Gabriel before the computer lines went down on the island. It was a cancer eating at him from the inside. He knew what it could do. He knew what it had to offer. And he would find a way to get back. It obsessed him. Every moment of his life he was focuses on that place. Communication on and off the island was now very tenuous. And many of his financial resources were tied to his computer on the island. Without them he had come to the end of his resources. He concluded that there are times when you must… improvise. Times when you had to make sacrifices and compromises that normally you wouldn’t make. He picked up the phone and dialed a number to a man he despised. “Hello?” “Hello. This is Benjamin Linus. I have a proposition for you…” |
