NOTE: Most photos/images can be clicked on for larger viewing![]() 2009 Nest Adoption Challenge - April 15 - June 15, 2009 The Cruzers adopted SEVEN nests (over $7,000 donated) in 2006, adopted EIGHTEEN nests (over $18,000 donated) in 2007, and then in a tremendous effort - adopted THIRTY-NINE nests ($39,333.00 raised) in 2008, in support of the Institute for Wildlife Studies (IWS) and their Bald Eagle Restoration Project! Some of the monies have made it possible for us to watch several bald eagle nests, with an upgraded internet feed and now SOUND! ![]() Star (IWS Nursery) - PH Spirit/Skye - WE Banding - WE - Dr. Sharpe Banding Cruzers and Forum Visitors can participate in "Adopt-A-Nest" beginning Wednesday - April 15, 2009 ! You can give once - twice - or as often as your heart allows! The Cruzers have dedicated themselves to supporting the monumental efforts of IWS and are hosting the 2009 Nest Adoption Challenge - each $1,000 raised adopts a Channel Island Nest! Is there a way you can help make a difference? Yes - every single donation adds up and together, we can adopt one nest at a time! And what is a Cruzer - it is anyone who watches the nests and loves the Channel Island Eagles! How about two - maybe three - even more nests - ! There are several ways that you can make a contribution-: 1. Visit IWS.org by clicking on this link Make a Contribution NOTE: If you pay thru Pay Pal, you must select a quantity to represent your total amount (it allows for $5.00 increments) 2.
