IWS gear featuring A-63 - there are many new members from this nest season whose Eagle experiences began in '07 and whose allegiance and hearts are with Limuw.
 (not to mention some of us 'old-timers' who need a 'set' of mugs and new mouse-pads and etc. :rolleyes: ) |

The 2008 Calendar with captions 'splaining each featured picture identifying the subject, location and etc.... perhaps a short history, if applicable of the history of the nest, origin of bird (fostered/hacked/hatched where and when) ... a shortened recap of the history such as accompanies the wing-blings. Good P.R. for IWS as Cruzers distribute them as gifts! |

It would be great to be able to purchase a mug or Tshirt or other items with the picture of the "visitor" (possibly Cruz) at the nest with Limuw. I know that the webcam pictures are not clear enough, but if a clear picture could be obtained through the VCOE tape (?) that would be terrific. There are some excellent pictures of Limuw that were taken by the IWS crew (Kim's name comes to mind here, but there were other ones) that would make some really nice mugs, etc.. The close-up one by Kim would match my "Cruz right after banding" mug that I have from last year. |

Another really cool picture would be the one with Jim in the nest and Limuw on the branch with his wings out and his beak open. It would match my other mug with Jim in the nest with Cruz. It would be great on Tshirts, tote bags, etc. too. I would like a hoodie with a zipper, not the pull over the head kind. I like Manu's suggestion for a "family" mug, too, with K10, K26, Cruz, and Limuw. |

Love that idea! I'd also love to see some T-shirts in colors other than white with Cruz, Pimu or Limuw. Tan and light grey would look awesome! Definitely want a Limuw mug to go with our Cruz mug too! |

I would like to have some things with K10 and K26. I particularly want wall thermometers, the flat round kind with Mom & Dad on them. A zippered sweatshirt/hoodie with Cruz, Limuw, K10, or K26 and the IWS logo. Thanks for asking!!

This would not necessarily have to be a CafePress item but.... At the Marina, in addition to giving a monthly Eagle update in our newsletter, I make 8/12 X 11 'flyers' to post in our front window giving nest updates ... complete with photos I snag from the forum. To folks that stop and read them, and ESPECIALLY if I see them grabbing for a scrap of paper and pen to write down the website for IWS, I hook them into the office and offer that they see the nest in live-streaming-video. I end by handing them a small piece of paper, approx. business card size, that I printed up, in color, of the downy eaglet in the nest (the one IWS uses) and the IWS website. I would love to have officially sanctioned handouts - that I could either purchase through CafePress or download from a posting on the forum and print up myself on business card stock (my preference, actually).... info on both sides, IWS logo, web address, maybe mission statement or something catchy and memorable. |

This is a great idea. I saw Joanie's cards/handouts (whatever you wanna call them) on one of our visits to the Marina, and thought they were such a good idea, I came home and made some for myself. I carry them with me everywhere and have handed out over 50 in just a couple months. |
