First off, ***SPOILERS!*** OK, I thought up some really cool fanfic ideas, but I can't use them now since I'm busy with the project. So if anyone wants to take 'em, feel free. Note: I haven't read much KOTOR fan fiction, so if these have been done, then it's purely a coincidence. #1. Alternate Universe (AU) - What if the Jedi strike team boarded the wrong Ship?Here's the pitch: When Bastila used her Battle Meditation to help the Jedi board Revan's flagship, what if Revan wasn't on board? Let's say he was taking care of another matter on the Leviathan, while Malak was temporarily handling the flagship. Bastila confronts Malak, demanding to know where Revan is. However, before Malak can answer, Revan orders his fleet to fire on the flagship, killing Bastila and Malak--the only two people who pose a threat to him--in one fell swoop. Five years pass. With the power of the Star Forge behind him, Revan has successfully conquered the Republic. All Jedi have been either wiped out or turned to the dark side. In a desperate attempt to take back the galaxy, Atris arranges for the Exile's return to known space... #2. KOTOR 3 - Revan is dead. I've seen this idea more than once, in several K3 discussions. What if the Exile ventures into the Unknown Regions, only to find that Revan has been killed by the True Sith? It could make for an interesting story. #3. AU - Atris is Darth Traya Early in development, there was a planned alternate ending in which Kreia is redeemed, and Atris becomes Darth Traya. #4. AU - Revan is Bastila's Sister Just something I thought up at random. Since I'm already writing a story with a male Revan, I thought about making one with a female Revan. And then I thought it would be interesting if Revan were Bastila's sister. Maybe she also has the Battle Meditation ability. Or maybe it's just her programmed identity post-mind wipe. #5. AU - No Visions Another AU, since they're easy to come up with. What if Revan and Bastila don't share visions? What would happen? Let's say that the Jedi find the ruins anyway, and the Council sends Carth and Bastila off in search of the Star Maps. Revan would stay on Dantooine, to be trained properly; now that their plan to use Revan's memories has failed, it's the only thing the Jedi can do. While Carth and Bastila are looking for the Star Maps, Malak sends Calo Nord and Darth Bandon to capture Revan. Now the position are reversed; Revan has been captured by Malak and has become his new apprentice, and it is up to Bastila and the others to save him/her. #6. Sort of AU - Too Old OK, in this one, the Jedi Council on Dantooine decides not to accept the PC for training (their excuse is s/he is too old). The PC accompanies Bastila, just as a Republic soldier. Could they still find the Star Maps and defeat Malak? It's not really AU, as maybe along the way the PC's Force abilities grow stronger; however, things will certainly be different since they never received proper training, and don't know the Jedi Code, etc. Anyway, those are just a few ideas I had kicking around in my head. Once again, if anyone wants to use them, feel free. |

Ooo...that's an interesting one. My guess is that he'd only rally about a tenth of the Jedi that Revan did...the Mandalorians would probably win the war, until the Council finally stepped in. The question is, would Revna find out about the True Sith? And would he turn to the dark side? Both happened during the war. Oh, and Malachor probably wouldn't happen, which would mean no Exile... |

Definitely #1. And once he's conquered the Republic, he can draw out the True Sith, and maybe be defeated by them, exiled, stripped of the force by his sith followers. 2 years after that, Revan encounters a Jedi. Believing he had converted them all or wiped them out, he follows the Jedi to a secret enclave. He asks for Jedi training but conceals his true identity. He is accepted, and while studying, he see's a man. A man he knew. A man he swore he had destroyed. A man named Malak. Pretty trippy, eh? Malak actualy asks about if their postion had been switched at the end of KOTOR, so you get to see what happens. |

Wow, pretty cool! Actually, it was that line by Malak that made me think of it in the first place (their positions reversed). I can't think of any more now...but I'll post later if any come to me. |

Btw, you should call them "Infinities", because that's what writers refer to alternate universe things to. I have Star Wars Infinities: A New Hope, which I think is very good. |

Where ever! The point is the Sith trained Revan instead of the Jedi, and the republic would have lost the mandalorian wars. |
