Dark Side Artifact Posts: 951 Group: Moderators Member #4 Joined: August 8, 2007	Some of the younger folk here may not have "got" my "Life Day" reference in my Christmas picture submission in the Episode III thread. I was wondering how many of you are familiar with the Star Wars atrocity called "The Star Wars Holiday Special." Although you might be able to find it on Torrents, I thought I'd save you the horror of actually watching the evil thing by providing links to some synopses. Star Wars Holiday Special (First Page I Found Tonight) Star Wars Holiday Special (Completely Different Page) Also a different page on this cruel, awful travesty Star Wars Holiday Special Wikipedia I had seen this show back in 1978 and only vaguely remembered it for the first appearance of Boba Fett. (Boba Fett? Where!?!)

An atrocious piece of work, a disgrace. :rolleyes: Ok, maybe I'm being a little harsh. It wasn't bad...it just wasn't very good. A piece of Star Wars mythos that is best left forgotten.

The DVD I acquired also has the Kenner commercials sepaprately AND the Muppet Show featuring C3P0, R2-D2, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, and Luke's actor cousin Mark Hamill. (Yes, Mark Hamill plays two roles.)

A local news program did one of their so-called "news stories" on it recently, but attempts to tape it failed, so I did not get to see it. Perhaps it's for the better.
