 so i just got fru watching this film.the copy wasnt too great but i still enjoyed the movie.

this has got too be one of the best movies ive seen this year.

2009 a miricle cure for cancer turns into humanitys worst nightmare as it starts giving people unique side effects.the president is forced to call upon an emergency quarentine sealing off new york city from the rest of the world....years later the virus has consumed the world leaving near enuff everybody dead.1 survivor Dr Robert Nevile is forced to survive alone in new york city with no1 but his dog for company....

i wont say anymore than that becuase i dnt realy wanna spoil anything for anyone becuase this is such a great movie and very well done.

first off the story is great although watching it ull no doubt have thoughts like "ive seen this type of thing in another movie" etc....

there are some unintended comicle moments in this movie.ii say unintednded becuase although we may find them funny i think they are ment as very seriouse subjects of what lcan happen to you when you are forced to live alone with no human contact what so ever.

um i dont realy no what else to rite.lol im not too good at riting reviews.if anyone wants to see this movie let me know and ill post the link.no download necessary u watch it all fru your browser.

I know they should never kill off any character who is acted by Will Smith!!!!

 I've read the book that movie is based on. They've tried to make movies about this story before - "Last Man on Earth"and "Omega-Man." From what I've read in reviews and from friends that saw the movie, the book is superior. I'd suggest a walk to your library to take it out

"I Am Legend" (might be bundled in a collection) by Richard Matheson.

 Hmm... I Am Legend is a okay film... I enjoyed it for the most part, but I didn't enjoy the ending. After the dog dyed, then the movie went straight to the ground and failed.

Both of the endings ruined the film for me. The one on the DVD was really stupid. And the one where he dies was... kinda a disappointment...

However, I don't like how Roberts son and wife both died by a stupid attack. If you ask me, they should have lived, and make a appearance in the end.

So, overall this movie is a love it or hate it kinda film. Some people hate it, some people like it. I, for one have mixed reactions on the film. The first half is pretty good, but its ruined by the over half. Smiler to HanCock.

So, overall, I give this movie a...

 One of my favorite movies, and I personally liked the ending. It's good to have the main character sacrifice himself, for the greater good, in this case the cure. It's an emotional ending and different to most movies.

 I liked it a lot, but it was too short. I felt like I didn't get to know the other two characters at all, and I wish it had been another half hour to an hour longer. Overall, though, excellent movie, and one of Will Smith's most emotional performances. (That scene where he's talking to the dummy after Sam dies gets me every time.)
