Update as of 10/14/2012 (yeah, it's been a while...):
Ignore all the crazy out of date nonsense below. I am focusing on K2 first, which will be three films as (roughly) follows:

Last of the Jedi

  • Peragus
  • Telos
  • Nar Shaddaa
The Sith Lords

  • M4-78
  • Korriban
  • Dxun
  • Onderon
Death of the Force

  • Dantooine
  • Telos
  • Malachor
I'm doing one at a time, of course, but I have a clear image in my mind's eye of the second film - perhaps clearer than the first one - and a few solid ideas for the third film. K1 is still on the table, but it's far off and I haven't made up my mind regarding the planets. I do have a layout for a single film adaptation, but then this wouldn't be a hexalogy...

Speaking of which, I'm not referring to them by any sort of episode number.

I'm also NOT revoicing Sion like I say below. Don't listen to Past JC... he was crazy!I decided not to use any other Jedi either, as I felt they drew attention away from the main Jedi characters - I don't want to have another Ki-Has-Only-One-Line-Adi Mundi or whatever his name is. I likely will have a few key characters revoiced, but I don't need anything for the first film at this time.

Original post (for posterity):

All right, the jig is up. I'm working on a KOTOR movie adaptation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, some of you already know. Whatever. For those of you who don't...now you do. ;) I've actually been working on it for over a month now, though the nature of the project has evolved since then. You can find out more in this podcast.

But I'll reiterate the general info here. Right now I have six movies planned, plus a three-hour miniseries featuring Taris. Here's the layout:

Knights of the Old Republic: Escape from Taris
#1 - Endar Spire, Upper City
#2 - Lower City
#3 - Undercity
#4 - Swoop race, Upper City
#5 - Upper City, Sith base
#6 - Sith base, Davik's estate

Episode I: Knights of the Old Republic
*Dantooine
*Manaan
*Tatooine

Episode II: Lure of the Dark Side
*Korriban
*Dantooine
*Leviathan

Episode III: Mantle of the Force
*Kashyyyk
*Lehon
*Star Forge

Episode IV: Last of the Jedi
*Peragus
*Telos
*Nar Shaddaa

Episode V: Echoes of the Past
*Korriban
*Dxun/Onderon

UPDATE: Kicked Dantooine out; Dantooine in full will be in EpVI, Dxun/Onderon will cover two acts.

Episode VI: Legacy of the Sith
*Dantooine
*Telos
*Malachor

Now, don't expect anything any time soon. We'll be lucky if the first film is finished next year. I'm starting with Episode IV...well, maybe. That's the plan for now, anyway, but it anyone gives me a compelling reason to start with K1 then I will. The script for Episode IV is about 92% done, and I have about 8 minutes of video done, though I haven't added my voiceovers yet.

I'll also need some voice actors eventually. I don't need anything right away, but I'll give you all a list of potential roles:

*Master Vandar (male)
*Darth Sion (male)
*Visquis (male)
*Jedi 1 (male or female)
*Jedi 2 (male or female)
*Jedi 3 (male or female)
*Jedi 4 (male or female)

The four Jedi only have one line each, while the other three are major roles. Visquis is just in one film, but Sion and Vandar are in a bunch, so keep that in mind. I'll be giving all three a try, though I doubt I can do them all, especially since I plan to voice the Exile, Revan, as well as a few others.

Before anyone asks, both Revan and the Exile are male, since I'm going to be voicing both, and also because I prefer the Handmaiden over the Disciple. Estimated length for the K1 trilogy is two hours per film; for K2 it's two and a half hours. But I really can't tell; I'm just guessing.

And regarding the comics, yes I'll keep working on them, but I'm putting the films at a higher level of priority.

If there are any questions, just post them and I'll answer them either here or in the next podcast (or both).

Wow, so this is the super super secret project you've been working on. ;) Anyway, this sounds really good, but I'm sad to hear that the comics are gonna be on hold. Hmm, but this might be good news for me, as it might give me the incentive to start my own KOTOR comic project. But I'm still thinking about that...

Anyway, enough about that...about the voice-acting. If you'd permit it, I'd like to audition for some of the roles you mentioned...I think I can pull off a pretty decent Master Vandar and I'd also like to try out one of the Jedi roles, if you've got only a line for each one. So if you'd like to hear a sample of my Vandar voiceover, let me know. I've got a mic now, so I'd be able to give it a try.

But anyways, keep us updated on this project; sounds really good and I'm really looking forward to it! Oh and if you need any ideas for the scripts, give me a PM. ;)

Ah, the plot thickens... :D I'll be getting back to the comics in due time, but I'd be interested to see some from you too...

I'll post the Jedi lines then. Vandar only has one line in EpIV, but a lot more in Eps I-III, so keep that in mind. Anyway, here are the lines for you (and anyone else) to look at:

Master Vandar

(Wise, like Vandar always sounds) "No good would have come from it, even if what you believe is true. There is still the matter of Revan, and such truths could leave us vulnerable on two fronts."

Jedi 1

(Sad, casting judgement) "You refuse to hear us. You have shut us out, and so have shut yourself out from the galaxy."

Jedi 2

(Grim, serious) "Know that there is no turning back from this judgment."

Jedi 3

(Pointing out something interesting, but troubling) "The war has touched the youngest of the Order. Many of them have lost themselves in battle against the Mandalorians."

Jedi 4

(Sort of talking down to Atris a bit, and a little surprised at her comments) "What would you have be done with him, Atris? Be mindful of your feelings. This is not Revan who stood before you. This one walks a different path."

Vandar and the four Jedi appear in the flashback of the Exile's trial, but are already dead by the start of the film, in case anyone was wondering. I (like Tpiom) felt that the Council seemed pretty empty for that scene, so I'm going to fill it up.

And here are some test lines for Sion and Visquis:

Darth Sion

(Calm, a little insulting at the end) "I sense you, my master. Faint...weak..."
(Really, really, really angry) "The failure is yours! No longer do your whispers crawl within my skull. No longer do I suffer beneath teachings that weaken us!"

It's all right if it doesn't sound exactly like Sion. He should sound broken and menacing--those are the only criteria. ;)

Visquis

(Smug, business-like) "Very well, let us dispense with the pleasantries. You are, after all, human."

(Freaking out, frightened and angry) "Of course he can hear you--it's a JEDI!"

Anyway, I'm looking forward to any more comments/questions/voice samples. :D

Will you be utilizing either the Brotherhood of Shadow or M4-78 mods in your saga? (If you do use M4-78, I'd be happy to provide you with extra lines for M4-78 if the need arises.)

Also, are you posting your movies on YOuTube? What's your YouTube user name?

Where can I find your podcasts to listen to them?elp you out, maybe come up with lines. That'd be all I can do, cuz I don't have

BOS, probably not. It just won't fit. M4-78 maybe, depending on when Stoney finishes, whether it fits/is necessary (if Korriban is too short, for instance), etc. But if I end up using M4-78, I'll let you know. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, they'll most likely be on YouTube and available through torrents as well. My YouTube account for KotOR stuff is C842vids (not much there yet). As for the podcasts, that's the first one up there; I'll post any more here. And as for lines...if I need any, I'll let you know. Thanks in advance.

Hmm...did I leave anything out? Let's see...

Ah, the K1 main character is Nik Starfall, using Scarface appearance in my sig, just like the comics--but the comics and films are unrelated; I'm just too lazy to think up a new name and use a new appearance. :P The Exile is Kane Dolan, and has the Obi-wan appearance. In order to differentiate between the two, I'll be using a gruff, Batman-like voice for the Exile. Haven't decided what to do with Nik's voice yet, though.

And as far as changes go...there will be a new story arch related to the fate of Revan for Episode II, which I mentioned in the podcast. Also, the GenoHaradan will have a prominent role in Episode II.

JC, I'll get a sample of my Vandar in a few minutes and I'll send it to you via e-mail, if that's okay. ;) Oh and about Nik's voice...maybe try out something similar to Rino Romano's in the game: similar to a guy who is edging towards his 30's(about 28, 29 years old), not too gruff, but not too thin either. I don't think you'll understand what I'm saying, but I thought I'd try and help anyway...

Eh, I think I follow. :D I'll figure something out. I probably will end up going with my own voice; the only reason I don't want to is that I'm afraid it'll be terrible. And I'm looking forward to the lines.

Ah, good to know. :)

(Trying to remember if I've forgotten anything again...)

Hmm...oh right, I'm going to kill off one of the major villains of K2 at the end of Episode V. I explain why in the podcast; mainly it's because there's a lack of a climax, and that way it'll leave room for the other villains in Episode VI (three should be easier to handle than four...heh).

Oh, and I'll probably be (re)voicing Colonel Tobin as well, unless I can find someone else (I think I have a good voice for him, but if I run out...). And Bandon will get a new voice as well (I'll give it a shot, but post test lines when I have them for anyone that wants to try out). The only reason I've decided to revoice some characters is lack of dialogue. I'm actually planning to keep some as a sort of easter egg, i.e. have the original voiceover for one line if isn't noticeably different from the new voiceover.

Oh, and music! Bah, if anything, that's where I need help! I'll be using general Star Wars music and music from the games, of course, but it's not going to be enough. So if anyone has suggestions, post away; I'll just need to sample it first (so a link to a YouTube video would be great). And before anyone suggests it, I'm already including a few tracks from Mass Effect (thanks to Ravnas for the suggestion). I'm also keeping my eye on The Force Unleashed, since its composer is Mark Griskey, the guy who did the K2 music. So far I have about 22 themes compiled for the K2 trilogy. I plan to release the soundtracks along with the films, for anyone who's interested.

I'll be back when I remember one of the many other things I've forgotten.

Regarding Music. . .

Why not use some of the music from the "Star Wars: Bounty Hunter" game for any scenes using the Mandalorians? (For example: at their Dxun base camp and when they converge on the Ravager?) I imagine you'll add more Mandalorian fighting as a nice counterpoint to the Exile's search for Nihilus.

Canderous is a different story - as he's not a rank-and-file Mandalorian but their leader. He needs a theme all his own.

Yeah, Canderous and all the party members will get their own theme (well, most of them, definitely Candy boy). If possible, it should resemble the Mandalorian theme(s). Going on that, the HK-50 and HK-47 themes should be similar as well. So if anyone thinks of anything, let me know.

Oh, and I'll be adding the Hexology to my C8-42 forums (link in my signature) in just a bit. I'm going to post the EpIV rough draft script, as well as my current list of ideas (spoilers, of course).

JC, I have some pretty sweet and not so well known sci fi music if you want to check it out and see if it'll fit for any of the themes. I have meaning I possess, not I created.

A criticism if I may :P At certain points in the script(When Kane is talking to Atton after T3 opens the doors) the dialog seemed to move by too quickly. This seemed a problem in different parts. I understand this is a work in progress, but I just wanted to offer my input ;)
