While I'd rank it the highest in terms of enjoyment, I have to say that EpIII is the weakest overall. Haphazard story, poor dialogue, action scenes that just seem thrown in in order to fill a quota--still enjoyable, but still weaker than the other two. |

Meh, they all suck... but seeing how Episode I was the stupidest of them all I'll vote for that. |

The Dialog and action scenes were nowhere near as bad as the CGI and romantic cheese fest of Attack of the Clones. In fact Revenge of the Sith is the only prequel film to have a good amount of memorable lines and not to mention a power house turn by Ian McDiarmid. As long as Anakin and Padme are away from each other (which for the majority of the film they are) I couldn't care less about the criticism of a "Haphazard story" Funnily enough it's not "Haphazard" yes the film does switch locations a lot but the story is still relatively simple, in fact the beginning of the film pretty much tells the audience what their in for with Count Dooku's "execution" egged on by Palpatine. |

Meh, the prequels got worse as they were released, though I'm going to say TPM for setting the bar so low. |
Greatest Idea Ever.

Meh, yes it is. There was no compelling goal or objective for any of the characters, causing the film to drag on at times. Most of the film was just an excuse for the characters to get into fights--Yoda vs Sidious, Obi-wan vs Grevious, etc--they had absolutely no point in the story at all. Cut them out and the film isn't changed in the slightest. Since there's no objective for the (supposed) hero Anakin, there's really no point in caring about him, especially since he acts like a jerk for half the film, as he does in the other two. That makes his fall even less compelling. The entire film was really just buildup for the Anakin/Obi-wan duel, and thus was completely pointless. But again, that doesn't make it the least enjoyable. As you said, it's the only one with any memorable quotes, the romance isn't as idiotic as it is in the other two, etc. But that's why it's more enjoyable than the others. Doesn't mean it's not the weakest. |

I'm gonna say EP I because the only stuff I really liked was the podrace and the darth maul fight. A lot of the stuff (Ani and friends on tatooine, senate, jedi council) was kinda boring and Yoda looked ridiculous. Yeah, the love scenes in EP II were cheesy, but at least Natalie Portman was hot, and the whole movie had a lot more action than EP I. That, and it had Jango Fett. EP III was awesome and the only thing I didn't like was that one love scene on the balcony cuz it was cheesy and Padme looked really bad. The "love has blinded you" line actually makes sense because Anakin has been blinded by love, but Padme says it jokingly and the whole scene is dumb, so the line doesn't even stand out. |

AOTC. Do we even need a competition? Saw how bad it did with earning cash? Plus, bad dialogue and bad plot. |

To JC just because you believe the film made little excuse for high effect duels and battles doesn't make the story "Haphazard" it made the action haphazard, really, take any of those high octane battles away and the main plot still stays the same essentially. So yeah if you wanted to say the action felt forced fine, but not the film as a whole it felt pretty planned and methodical if you ask me, a bit too methodical which is why I don't like any of the prequels as much as the first two films in the original trilogy. |

It makes the story haphazard for going out of its way to include random action scenes. The action scenes are part of the story--that's the problem. They don't need to be, but they are. Not to mention that the story is pretty all over the place on its own anyway. |

They all had issues, TPM was ridiculous - Jar Jar binks, and the gungan battle, Tatooine (3/4 of the movie)... AotC was umm... I was missing something, not an epic lightsaber - no space battle... And, things were just out of focus sometimes. For example, Anakin going back for his mother was unnecessary and the Bounty Hunter invesigation... RotS, Dooku died to early and Anakin's fall was well unexpected. And I think the movie would have been better if the "planet wars" were longer like Kashyyyk, Mygetto and so on. Grevious was bad too, REALLY bad unlike in the cartoon series that aired earlier. But weakest of them all was Attack of the Clones. |
