Alright, so, I noticed a lot of KOTOR Projects lately. I decided to post on how to use the Free Cam in both KOTOR I and TSL. First, download KOTOR Tools from this site: http://kotortool.starwarsknights.com/ Next, install it. When you finish installing it, go here in your KOTOR Tools Menu. http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll91/Mi...Untitled-34.jpg In, BluePrint Item list, click any items to change them to anything. Double click on the item you want to change, then once the Item Editor comes up, click on Properties right here http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll91/Mi...Untitled-35.jpg You know that star right? Well double click on that, and this menu should come up: http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll91/Mi...Untitled-36.jpg In the Properties Name list, click on disguise properties. And afterwords the subtype menu should come up. For those who don't know what I'm talking about: http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll91/Mi...Untitled-37.jpg Scroll down until you see this: http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll91/Mi...Untitled-38.jpg Click on that, and afterwords, click add. You might want to change the item description as well. You know, so you can ID your custom Free Cam item. Afterwords, you may want to change your item tag, and Template ResRef. I'm working with a armband here, with the tag a_band_c01. So, I'm going to change it from a_band_c01 to: a_b_c84. Next, click on Save. You can name it whatever you want, but I like calling it the same as my item tag. Prevents less confusion. You can also save it where ever you want. I prefer saving to my desktop. Because then I'll be able to find it there. Next, after saving the item, close KOTOR Tools, and put your item in your KOTOR II or KOTOR I Override folder. It should be located in your KOTOR Dictionary folder. After that, start the game and press ` or ~ to bring up the cheat system. Add the custom item you just made to your game like this: giveitem a_b_c84 Then afterwords go to your inventory, and look for that item you just made. Put it on your character, and be sure that there are NO weapons at all on your character. Your character should disappear when equipped. Now, we have to deal with Main Menu remove. Just simply wrap to other area using the cheat system. For example, If I wanted to wrap to another area, I would open up the cheat console, and type the following: warp 001EBO (No Caps lock on) There. Those should do it. If it doesn't work for anyone, feel free to post on this topic, and I'll get back to you. Credit go's to Dan Loto and JC for this discovery. |

I have some problems: 1. I can't write any cheat, I don't understand why, because I wrote "EnableCheats=1" in my swkotor2.ini file. 2. I don't know if it is a problem or not, but I tried to put the item with KSE and it doesn't exist, so finally I save in the same armband (not creating a new file) to do it and now I'm invisible, but I can't warp. Please I need some help.

Okay, you had the same problem as me but I fixed it. First go your KOTOR II Program Folder. Then in that folder, Click on this Folder In that folder, there should be This file In that file, add the line EnableCheats1 or something under game options. And I hoped that worked!

Thanks Revan, It's all OK, just one question: when I do this, there is no exile any more, not? So, I'm the camera for the two NPCs?? Thanks by the way.

Yeah, that's how it works out. There is another trick to make two exiles but that one is VERY complected. |

Only JCarter knows how to do that, although after yesterday I'm sure Revan could explain it pretty well. Or I will if I have the time on Skype. |

Only works for KOTOR II, there is no floating LS in KOTOR I! |

Actually it's EnableCheats=1 under [Game Options].
That is true, sadly... The floating lightsaber was invented in Kotor 2 and therefore does not exist in K1. |

Erm, while *technically* that's true, there are ways to get around it, but I've said too much already. |

Well, the HUD removal cheat still works for K1. So, that's good news. But.. is there a way to port the floating sabers to K1 WITHOUT doing it the illegal way? |
