The animations, and the voice overs were plain awesome. Overall, it was a surprising experience and the trailer has also got me hyped up for the game now. It just looks like a redo of Order 66 from Episode III, except with dark jedi instead of clone troopers. It's got some nice effects and all, and it looks like they've really improved the graphics, but this still dosen't give us much information on the storyline. I suppose that it's just the introduction, and is only giving us some exposition in a flashy way, but you can't judge it only on this. I'm trying to be optimistic about the MMO, even though I probably won't even play it, just find out what happened on Wookiee and the comics, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Nice trailer, but I still want to know a bit more.

I agree it looks a little like Orders 66 but if they pull it off it could work. Over-all great other that looking like Order 66. It looks dark as well. Hopefully the game will be finished and a complete experience like KOTOR 1 and not an incomplete K2. Great graphics BTW.

Agreed. Trailer looks epic, but some designs just look too much like movie designs for my liking. I'll wait and see the end result, before I actually make up my mind about this game, although I don't think I'll play it myself. I think I've actually found a way to make peace with this MMO...I don't consider it KOTOR 3, no matter what the designers say. A part of the KOTOR expanded universe perhaps, K10 maybe, but definetely not K3.

Jedi Youngling Posts: 335 Group: Members Member #217 Joined: September 28, 2008	I like the trailer, it's awesome: nice music (I really like Darth Traya battle theme at the end), amazing graphics and a good story for a trailer, but... That's not the old republic! That's like the movies! The jedi temple was different in trthat era, the sith weren't like the Empire, their ships are almost identical in the trailer! That trailer has made real my fears, it's going to look as in the movies. I've seen many pictures where republic soldiers were wearing the same white armor, remind you anything? Yeah, they look as stormtropers or clones. Ah, what about the sith lord? It's Darth Vader without the helmet. The bounty hunter was Jango Fett but as woman. Blue armor, jet pack, two guns and the design was very similar. Finally, I think taht SWTOR is going to be a good game, but it's not what the title says for me. It will be Star Wars, but nothing related to the Old Republic.
