Might seem like an odd request, but does anyone have time to try editing the HK-50 vos to sound more like HK-47? Since all the HKs are voiced by Kristoffer Tabori, it'd be great to be able to use some of the HK-50 voice files for HK-47 and vice versa; the only problem is that they're too different from each other to use frequently. No one would notice a line or two, but if HK-47 were talking to an HK-50, it'd be quite obvious.

I only thought to bring this up because there's a very important part of the game in which HK-47 has little to no voiceovers - the HK factory. There are a couple conversations in which he speaks, but for the most part he's given dialogue choices like the player usually gets, and remains silent.

I had this idea to use some HK-50 lines - since they talk so much - and give them to HK, so he's not silent the whole time while they bicker back and forth. But I can't seem to get it to sound enough like HK.

As far as I can tell, the HK-50 lines have a slight echo, lower pitch, and don't have HK-47's hiss. Now, I've fiddled with some HK-47 lines and have gotten them to sound enough like the HK-50s, but I can't seem to do the reverse, and of course that's the more important one. I think the issue is that it's nearly impossible to get rid of an echo, and I've no clue how to add the hiss.

So if anyone has some ideas, or is willing to give it a try, post here. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who'd benefit from this.

On a related topic, I'd be happy to provide you with the lines I've ripped from the Prima KOTOR II DVD guide that aren't featured in the game - voiced by Kristoffer Tabori as HK-47. There are many lines but several have music behind them. Still . . . there might be something you can use in there.

It'll have to be after I return to homeport though. Keep an eye on my signature for that announcement.

Thanks for the offer, but Tpiom's given rips of what I need.

On the other matter I think I've nailed HK-47, but I'm missing something from the HK-50s. They have some sort of filter that either I can't figure out, or isn't possible to simulate with Audacity.

They kind of sound like they're talking underwater sometimes, I dunno how to describe it really. It's not a pressing matter, but I was looking through the files and figured it wouldn't hurt to mention it.

As I gave it to him, I did give to you - merely indirectly. ;)
