Seeing how I bought the collectors edition of Mass Effect 2, I pretty much got the chance of reading the first issue. The series them-self's take place before the events of the second game but after the events of the first game. And expands on characters that don't really appear much in the first two games.

As I said before, I've read the first issue and I was pleasantly surprised. It was short, but I enjoyed it regardless. Its scheduled to have around 4 issues (or so I've heard.) and is a tie in to upcoming DLC's for Mass Effect 2.

But enough of my babbling. Who else has read it?

I read the first issue. ... Did not care for it. Honestly, it was bland and there just wasn't any energy to it. It sorta felt like they were just pulling things out because it's Mass Effect. Admittedly, I want to happen more, because Mass Effect deserves that sort of treatment, but whatever. It was like, "We gotta add a krogan, we gotta have Miranda, we gotta have TIM." (The Illusive Man.) This comic doesn't quell my dreams of Mass Effect transferring into other mediums - that's what the books did. This was just ehh.

Got the first issue on my iPod for free :) It's pretty cool, I'll probably keep up with the series if they release them all on the app store.
