I saw a thread like this on another forum that I frequent. Basically, just share what's on your mind. Right at this moment. Share what's going on in your life at the moment, social issues, trips, school issues, work issues, etc. This is a way that we could make each other seem more personal. It's also nice to keep up with those involved with our KotOR Movie Forums. So... I guess I'll start ![]() I'm still at work right now. I get off at five, but I've finished my tasks for the day, so there's not much to do now. I'm going to lift some weights afterwards, pretty bummed about that. I celebrated my 19th birthday yesterday, and I still haven't had a chance to play my new Playstation 3. What's going on with you guys? |

Well, right now; I actually just finished filming a scene in my KotOR II Machinima Film (Episode I), and I'm satisfied on how that came out to be. I'm also a bit concerned on Stephen Harper's security plan for the upcoming G20 Summit here in Toronto. I support having security for the the whole summit, but I'm not a big fan of the enormous budget that went into planning this security; which by the way costs about 1 billion dollars. And this came directly from the taxpayers pockets. I also hate the HST that recently went into service lately. For those who don't know, the HST is an acronym for Harmonized Sales Tax, and what it essentially does is merge the previous two separate taxes that we Canadians had for over a decade, which was the Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and the Goods and Services Tax (GST). The PST was about 8%, and the GST was 5%. Combine those two together, and you have the new Harmonized Sales Tax; which is 13%. You can learn more info about it here. |

Thanks for that link, 411. It's always nice to know something about other countries. I'm really ignorant about Canadian government, so it's always interesting to hear feedback from you guys up north (I'm in the U.S.). Just got back from working out and our heating upstairs has been repaired (which is awesome, b/c yesterday it was 96 degrees F up here :/)! About to fire up the PS3, super excited. |

Yeah I know they're worried about something going boom but God!! You're righ 411 he really over payed way to much and the fact it came from us ........ well ....... our parents is just insulting. |

13% isn't that bad, but I guess it's the principle of being over-taxed that counts. New Yorkers pay even more than Canadians in sales tax, while some states have no sales tax at all. We're really getting robbed over here, and judging from your post, I'd say it's pretty universal. |

Just got back from a business trip to Dallas, TX. Not looking forward to going back to work in the morning after a long weekend. I spent some quality time with my parents, and I got to check out the John F. Kennedy museum. It was really neat (and sad). I also got to eat at some awesome restaurants. |

You should've hit me up while I was down there! Haha ![]() Anyway, I just got back from the next town over; I needed to pick up my mom a gift for her birthday tomorrow (well, today now I suppose). I got her the first three books in a series she seemed interested in. I'm putting KotOR Eppy II: Veil of the Dark Side in and calling it a night! Rest easy, KotOR Movie Forums!

I saw the Last Airbender this past week. It really is as bad as all the critics say it is. If anyone was thinking about going to see it, I recommend you save your money. Some of the effects and action scenes are kinda cool, but not great. The story doesn't make a lot of sense, the dialogue is badly written, and some of the acting makes Hayden Christensen look Oscar-worthy in comparison. |

My OSSLT results just came in, and I can safely tell you guys that I successfully passed the test. Got a 315 on it. For those wondering, the OSSLT is an acronym for Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test. And basically, you need to successfully finish this test in order to graduate High School, and enroll into College, or University. It's a test that every Canadian student, grades 10 and up, needs to do. |

Congrats, 411! We have something similar in the U.S. of A.: The American Constitution test. It's pretty simple; the test just contains some basic questions about certain articles of the U.S. Constitution (obviously, ).I remember at my school we had to get at least an 80% to pass it. It was pretty easy though. |
