But there's always the threat of Messi & Co. with Barcelona and Inter Milan looks promising after their 09' victory over Bayern. - Cheers!

Midichlorian Posts: 239 Group: Members Member #352 Joined: August 19, 2009	I myself am, as always, rooting for Panathinaikos, since I'm Greek. BUt they're in NO way a favorite to win it all. They can propably go to thw Top 16, maaaybbbee Top 8, but that's it. As for a favorite? Real, Barca and you can never count out Manchester United. Bayern will also be very good, now that Müller will propably get more playing time. Inter, I am afraid, I don't think will do very good. It was Murinho who led this team. W/o him I don't know if they would even be able to beat Chelsea in the top 16. But we'll see. Like every year, I'm looking forward to it!

What do you mean, they will have to be disqualified in the first round? Arsenal finished 3rd in the premier league, right? Which means they will play in the CL nex year. In order to play in the EPL they will have to be disqualified in the group stage, 3rd place. Otheriwse they won't play in the EPL next year.

I'm very happy, and of course surprised that PAOK (a fellow Greek team) managed to get a 1-1 tie in the 1st leg, against Ajax, in Amsterdam. What are your thoughts on the qualifying rounds so far? P.S These are the 22 teams that are already in the group stage. Inter, Valencia, Lyon, Cluj, Chelsea, Roma, Rubin Kazan, Benfica, Manchester United, Milan, Spartak Moscow, Bursaspor, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Shakhtar Donetsk, Panathinaikos, Barcelona, Schalke 04, Twente, Rangers, Real Madrid, Marseille
