I just saw it last night - at 10:30 PM in the night. It was absolutely fantastic. Loved Leonardo DiCaprio's performance, and enjoyed the originality behind the film's plot. My only gripe is that some of the characters lacked any emotional depth, or development in some sequences of the film, (excluding DiCaprio's character obviously) but I can let that little tiny flaw aside. But I will have to re-watch the film again on DVD... It's simply one of those films that you have to continuously re-watch to fully understand the plot. ~ 9/10 (Much better then Nolan's "Dark Knight.) So, has anybody else (besides me of course) watched this movie? |

I saw it, and I agree with you guys, it was absolutely incredible. I feel like I understood the plot enough that I don't need to watch it a second time, but I want to see it again anyway because it was so awesome. I can't remember the last time a movie had me on the edge of my seat the whole time like that. Definitely my favorite movie of the year so far. |

That's Chris Nolan's work for ya! I seriousely think the man's probably the best and one of the most original directors out there. Haven't seen Inception yet, but I've seen alot of glowing reviews about it(not that I doubted it's success considering Nolan was behind it) and I'm definetely gonna watch it as soon as I can. |

I just managed to see it. Here are my thoughts... beware of spoilers! ![]() Some characters, excluding Ariadne, Cobb and Saito lacks character development - for me, they all tend to blended together. It's probably due to the fact that there are too many characters for this film. I'm not a fan of pacing either, sometimes it just moves too slow - other times, they drag it out - one example are the action sequences (icy-place) at the end. Nolan's not my favorite director, but this film is better than The Dark Knight at least. But it's worse than his previous works, such as Memento. I say they did well with the "feel". It had some cool locations and visuals, though. One question though; the ending... was it a dream or reality? I give this a 7 or maybe 7,5/10. |

That's part of the genius of it, it's open ended and you can decide for yourself. I like to think that the film ended with them making it back to reality, but I've heard a lot of different theories people have (and some of them are pretty bizarre). |

Inception is by far one of my favourite films in 2010, Christopher Nolan once more shows he's a great Director and my opinon on Leonardo DiCaprio changed completley. In his earlier films-Like Romeo & Juliet for example- I thought he was a winy Hollywood show off, that films only used becuase he was young. But now, he's turned into a great actor and I couldn't of thought of a better person to play Cobb than him. The plot is complex and interesting, my favourite character by far is Eames, he' the one who brings humor into the movie. I was a little confused by the ending at first but when I re-watched the last fifty seconds or so I understood it entirley. Great acting, effects, stunts. 9/10 @Tpiom I believe it was reality, he wasn't wearing his wedding ring, the totum began to wobble, and besides, the kids ARE his totum. |
