The Mandalorian Wars
BTC 311 Too often, the Mandalorian Wars are characterized solely as a prelude to the Jedi Civil War, but the events surrounding the conflict itself bear close examination. When Mandalore the Ultimate called together the clans and began augmenting his armies further with Neo-Crusaders, his intention was to pull the Jedi Order into open conflict. As is the tradition in their culture, the Mandalorians sought to establish themselves as the most powerful faction in the galaxy by defeating the faction they considered to be their greatest rivals. Though the Jedi Council resisted the Mandalorian challenge, the splinter group led by Revan and Malak eventually joined the fray and won the war. Though there has never been a hint that the Sith were involved in the Mandalorian Wars, new analysis from Jedi Master Gnost-Dural suggests that the influence of the dark side was involved. The bittersweet victory in the Mandalorian Wars took a toll on the Republic for which the price is still being paid to this day...

The Mandalorian Wars included some of the bloodiest battles in the Republic’s history. Mandalore the Ultimate’s relentless campaign to goad the Jedi into open conflict cost the lives of millions. Though the entrance of a Jedi splinter faction into the war is perceived as the factor that turned the tide against the Mandalorians, the perseverance of Republic soldiers and pilots like Carth Onasi cannot be underestimated. Jedi Master Gnost-Dural’s historical investigation analyzes the conflict with the perspective of modern events, highlighting the implications for the war against the Sith Empire.

Now you'll have to pin all the other timelines as well!

Well at least the ones KOTOR related. :P

Seems pretty big to me that they would leave out the fact that the hidden Sith Empire challenged the Mandalorians to fight the Republic.

I think the bigger issue is that they're completely rewriting the events of not only K2, but their own game as well, and ruining a perfectly good story and any chance of a proper conclusion to the series.

I'm sure their timeline of the Great Sith War will be equally laughable. They've gotten so many things wrong already.

We can't have like fifty pinned timeline threads. We need one timeline pinned thread with all the videos.

Also, I liked this video. At least they didn't get anything wrong - except the Sith Emperor nonsense.

You're welcome to make a thread linking to all the official videos once they're all out, and then pin that... but for now I'm pinning each topic... there have only been five so far... <_<

BAD!!!

The artwork is horrible and they got several key events wrong, and they didn't even mention the Exile or other important figures like Cassus Fett.

Also Sith Emperor! <_<

Ahem. Give me a minute. Here it comes. Hang on... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH MALAK'S FACE?! The only resemblance is his clothing and his tatoo stripe things...
And...

- Why are the Mandalorian helmets like Canderous' one in K2?
- Why is Mandalore wearing a cape?
- Why are the ships so weird? Hammerhead is too round.
- Is that supposed to be Carth Onasi? I can see because of his little piece of hair. Seriously... How is *that* fanservice? A little piece of hair.
- Why does the Republic Trooper armor (+helmet) look...like that?
- Why is Carth *hanging out* with Saul (I assume it is him)? He looks up to him and Saul is a mentor to him. They're not in a street gang. Also, Carth, you're not a detective, dress like a soldier.
- Why do some ships look like Droideka heads?
- We see a Yoda, an old dude, a twi'lek and a black guy. What you mean Vandar, Vrook, Zhar and Dorak? None of them bear any resemblance. It's just because they are as a group together. Also the background is the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. These guys were in charge of the academy on Dantooine. And if they were indeed on Coruscant at the time, the group should've been bigger.
- Revan has a face now? Even shot from the back, we can still see he has long hair. He's supposed to wear a mask at all times in canon, so that we can choose our head.
- A guy with a red saber? That was after the Mandalorian Wars. The rest of the pic indicates this is during.
- Dustil's hair is a different shade of brown  though he could've been doing fancy stuff with it.
- Revan and Malak found the Star Forge, not the true Sith Empire. Correct me on this one though. (JC?)
- Exar Kun doesn't look at all like any of his appearances.
- Artstyle looks rushed and cheap.
- The announcer's voice isn't deep enough.

There. I can find so many things to bitch about, some more relevant than others. And that's just me. I don't even know everything. But if this is supposed to be for fans, they're doing a very bad job. Not to mention the complete rewriting of certain parts. This game is just another Sci-Fi online game that bears the KotOR name to gain good name. It redesigns everything. There is no resemblance to KotOR at all anymore.

Again, correct me on any of these.
