I just randomly stumbled on torchwood and want to watch it so bad! Problem: I live in the U.S. and I can't seem to find anything but the first ep online. Please help me find it!
I thought the CUBE would last forever
I was WRONG
Not in CRUELITY
Not in WRATH
The REAPER came today
An ANGEL visited this gray path
And took the CUBE away

Season 1 starts this week in the US; Season 2 starts in the UK in January. And I'm betting that the BBC America version has been shortened just like Scifi does with Doctor Who. That's why I just watch online.

Love this show. I downloaded the first season, finished watching it last night, and MAN I loved it. It's a shame I have to wait until they finish Season 2, put it on DVD, and then pray for someone to put it up on torrents. The reason for this is that I cannot find any station that airs Torchwood in Canada =/

Anyway, still love this show, was kinda iffy with it at the start, but it got waaaaaaaaaaaay better. Cpt. Jack Harkness is one of the best characters in Sci-fi, and I'm glad he has his own series now.

Well, the first four episodes are up now.

*cough* mininova.org *cough* :D

Anyway, agreed--fantastic show. This season has been great so far.

Well it seems that the first four episode are up on my favoured torrent site, as well. With hundreds of seeds, hmm indeed :)

TWO episodes were on last night. That probably means there won't be one next week, though. But still, TWO episodes!

Holy crap. I just watched the season finale of Torchwood Season 2, and I must say. It was FAR better then the Season 1 ending (Well not in terms of final moments, because the final moments of Season 1's finale, was so awesome) and it was filled with much sorrow. All in all, I would much rather prefer another season of Torchwood then another season of Doctor Who.

What did you think of it, JC?

It definitely outmatched last season's. Last season's ending was just as good, but this season's was more action-packed and it had an interesting twist. Not to mention...well, you know. ;)

The last season's ending was good, but it didn't really seem like a finale. What happened kinda came out of nowhere, to be honest. I was a little bit disapointed, until the very end of course, but there was nothing like that with this one =D

Any news on the new season yet? :P

Yeah, the beast was sort of random. This season's plot seemed more thought out.

As for next season, word I hear is that Martha and Mickey will be joining the cast. Just a rumor, but it doesn't seem far-fetched to me.

Meh, I much prefer Doctor Who.Torchwood is like a gay pride parade gone wrong.

Don't get e wrong, nothing wrong with being gay or having gay characters. But it's way over the top in Torchwood and it's like the writers are more interested in telling you how everyone in the show loves each other than actually telling a good sci fi story.

I don't mind it so much. In the first series it was a bit...overdone, but in the second they've cut it down to just Jack and Ianto (and John, I guess, but he doesn't count). I think the stories are just as good as Doctor Who's, except it's on a slightly smaller scale (as in, the world isn't in danger every single episode).

Doctor Who's story as of late has been getting slightly less interesting. Season 3 was MUCH better then Season 2, but nothing beats Eccleston's run in Season 1. I thought the ending and the Cybermen Episodes of Season 2 were the only good parts, everything else seemed mediocre. Season 3's ending was much better, I'm glad it didn't end with them stopping the Daleks. Season 3 had better stories, such as Gridlock, The Family of Blood, Daleks in Manhattan, 42, and the finale.

Torchwood however always seems fresh. Maybe it's just me, but I think Torchwood is the better overall show. Who is slightly lacking nowadays, I think.
