I recently starting playing Pokémon Ruby again, and it really brought a sense of nostalgia.

I played Pokémon throughout my childhood; they're all great games. Did anyone else enjoy these games as much as I did? My favorite was probably Gold version. Gen II had the best starters, IMO. And it was awesome to go back to the Kanto region and when all the old badges.

Any other memories/thoughts/discussions? All things Pokémon go in here!

My favorite was also the Gold version. I remember playing the Red/Blue edition a lot though, on the school's playground :P

Link battling/trading was the thing to do on the playground back in the day :)

I recently did a playthrough of Red during my fall break on an emulator and beat it in three hours (granted, I had it at 4x speed...). Such a fantastic game. A real shame I couldn't save :(

I caught Mewtwo first try!
