While I want HOTOR, and the Episode 1 SE (Although I'm not very excited about the Episode 2 Festival Edition) But These movies have been so good, that I think you should finish them before you ahem perfect them. Not saying they aren't already awsome, but still... So I'm for Episode 3

I feel it will give more weight to Episode 3. You said it yourself... in another thread! And honestly, I agree. I think you should explore Kaydon's past before he appears in Episode III, otherwise it will just feels empty... We don't know him yet, if he dies or something. And the special edition won't just be a "special edition". You learned so much so the experience will be like watching another film - with your added tweaks throughout the film. Remember, it's also a chance to introduce a Jedi or two at the Academy, maybe in the background, that you can kill off or whatever.

EDIT: I ask this because the title seems contradictory to the impression you gave in my closed "update" thread. x3

If I could have a second place choice, it would be the webisodes. I think if we had a lead in to the Episode 3, folks could hold on for Episode 3. As for "Episode 2: Veil of the Dark Side - Festival Version (90 minutes)", I wouldn't be interested in a shorter version.

Unregistered	I'd like to see Episode III first, then the Episode I SE,why? Because me (and lots of others) want to see the conclusion of your Original Trilogy version before you make changes to Episode I. To be honest all I think Episode I needs is some new free-camera angles and no HUD.

I'd like to feel like we know everything that we need to know going into Episode III, and that our experience won't be hurt by the lack of any of these components. Aside from that, I don't know about you guys, but I'm not dying for Episode III as of yet. I'd say it can definitely wait a little longer, just not too much longer.

I honestly feel like it will hurt the experience of viewing Episode III to have an underdeveloped character in there, because if an underdeveloped character dies - why should we care? lol! I don't mean to be harsh or rude or anything, just trying to make my opinion as clear as possible. For example, you could compare killing off an underdeveloped character to something like...hitting a character in the face with a frying pan; in a story, you cant just have that happen - you need to have a good reason for it. You need to build up to that character getting hit, so that we as an audience are surprised when it happens - almost like when he gets hit, we get hit with a frying pan as well

Jedi Master/ The Director Posts: 957 Group: Admin Member #3 Joined: August 6, 2007	GREAT feedback so far... it just feels good to know you're all still out there, with such a hiatus I have had to take from here... As for Festival Edition, if I get a time slot or two at MAGFEST this year on the East Coast, I have to do that first. Believe it or not, and I know SW fans we like all inclusive editions and such, but a 90 minute Episode II would be a real treat... imagine, it takes the best of the movie and slams it in there. It may feel off or rushed to those familiar to the original or extended edition, but for a theater or screening room, it's just the right length. No one not familiar with KOTOR or this community, would want to sit in a theater for 2 hours, 18 minutes for a machinima movie made off an old X-Box game. But 90 minutes, is editorially speaking, a right amount of time, while not losing the viewer's interest. I will most likely follow the poll results and forge ahead with the Special Edition. I get a break from work this November, which hopefully will give me enough time to finish it quickly... it is important to me that all characters that have a huge role in Episode 3 get their just due and depth, whether it's the SE or HOTOR. Keep the feedback going guys... I appreciate it!
