Its this, and TOR that really irk me as to why they would allow such stupid decisions to go through. Maul didnt return until after the clone wars, and the only thing that he is probably in for is to attract more kids because, lets face it, every kid loved Darth Maul. I still think hes a cool character, but he really shouldn't come back in the CW series, it doesn't make sense, and it makes it too much of a cluster IMO. Just the fact that Anakin had an apprentice ruined it for me; why would they give someone like Anakin an apprentice...not to mention the fact they just sort of throw Ahoska (<- spelled wrong?) in there and say "its time for him to have an apprentice", and nothing more <_<

Now I'm kind of over that and I'm actually excited to see him return, as long as they do it in a way that's cool and not ridiculous. My new gripe though is that Maul just doesn't seem to fit in with everything else that's happening in the Clone Wars. And then there's the issue of what his final fate will end up being. If Obi-Wan kills him again, it will feel redundant, but if anyone else kills him, then it will cheapen Obi-Wan's victory in TPM. And if Ahsoka kills Darth Maul... I don't even want to go there. They're smarter than that. ...right?

Obi-Wan Kenobi: You won't get away this time, Dooku. Count Dooku: I've been looking forward to this. Anakin Skywalker: My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count. Count Dooku: Good. Twice the pride, double the fall. But wait in the Clone Wars they fight each other several times & even get thrown in prison together. & there's the duels between Obi-Wan & Grievous, & the fact that Ventress even exists. Things like that are what bug me about TCW, without them I would consider those events pretty much canon.

Big glaring mistake on Georges part was green lighting this show IMO. It really, really hurts some of the cannon (in turn eliminating tension) in Episode III (Anakins apprentice, the fact that it is established through dialogue that Dooku hadn't even had any contact with Anakin/Obi-Wan since the end of Episode II, the list goes on for ages). Its just an unneeded show in general. The original Clone Wars cartoons from before the release of Episode 3 were fine! They filled the gap between the two films quite well, and the last segment of that series even leads right into the first scene in Episode III.
