Weaned Posts: 259 Group: Members Member #443 Joined: July 10, 2009 What do you Hunt Squirrel State Louisiana	The Louisiana Pecan Festival in Colfax Louisiana get of to a great start Friday morning.After the Blessing of the Crop,the festival will start of with Childrens Day at 9 am Friday morning.At noon the carnival opens with Avery Michaels & Exit on Stage.Also Friday at Noon Starts the Antique Tractor show--& the Cooking contest results!...Friday evening @ 4.30 pm the Bernie Alan Band will take the stage.And the Queens Ball will start at 8 pm at the Reuinion Center......Saturday Morning at 9 am the Grande Parades starts! Saturday after noon at 4.30 pm the pie eating contest starts & at 5 pm the Street dance Starts and the Fire works start at 8 pm Saturday night!!! You all come and enjoy some fine Southern Hospitality in Colfax Louisiana This Week End!!

There was a Rock Climbing mountain with 2 bungie jump pads-Every child was attached to a automatic safty harness so no child would be hurt!!!Bunches of games for the children.Dog shows and Horse rides for the youngster.Pop Corn and drinks for everybody.Rabbits to Face painting,jumping balloons,climbing balloons and much much more.Rabbits and pigs and puppies to pet. ALL THIS WAS FURNISHED TO EVERY CHILD WHO SHOWED UP INCLUDING FREE REFRESHMENTS FOR YOUNG AND YOUNG AT HEART!---I AM VERY PROUD OF MY COMMUNITY!------tHEN THERE WAS THE BAND,TRACTOR SHOW,AND THE CARNIVAL STARTED BY NOON....SO MUCH GOOD FOOD TO EAT!sOOOO MANY CRAFTS--AND THIS IS JUST THE START OF A GREAT WEEK-END...iF THIS AINT ENOUGH FOR YOU BRING YOUR ATV AND CAMPER --COLFAX LOUISIANA IS HOME OF LOUISIANA MUDFEST--A 300 HUNDRED ACRE MUD PIT WITH ATV TRAILS AND PLENTY OF CAMPING SPOTS!!--- YOU ALL COME PASS A GOOD TIME Edited by Creek Dawg, Nov 6 2009, 10:45 PM.

Weaned Posts: 259 Group: Members Member #443 Joined: July 10, 2009 What do you Hunt Squirrel State Louisiana	The fire works were great and the food was even better!Food like aligator on a stick,Shrimp,Crab pattie made with realllllll fresh crab meat.We are Blessed to have food Venders from Lake Auther Louisiana-Any body who's familiar with the way "them folk" COOK from Lake Auther -----mouth is watering right now! The Jambalaya oooooOOOH the big bowl of Jambalaya!!!
