SSBB Mario Bros Stage King!

Well guys, I got a few games so I shall do several mini reviews. The conduit Graphics 9/10 This game has great graphics, one of the best in the wii probably, I really have found myself staring at some of the scenaries in the story mode, the multiplayer stages due to having to support so many players aren't as good looking. Sound 8/10 The music is great at certain points, but the sounds effects are exactly what you would expect in a shooter, nothing less nothing more. Gameplay 9/10 It's a good shooter, it has online, so it really depends on if you like shooters or not, its not original so it's not ground breaking, that doesn't mean it's not good thoguht, it is. Replayability value 10/10 It has online and a bunch of secrets and unlockables, what else do you need? Overall rating 9/10 Oboro muramasa the demon blade. Graphics 10/10 A lot will go 10? Why 10 if it's not realistic, well simply put, realistic graphics are easily achieved with high end technology, but real art, and good looking games based on the artstyle, details and more dont happen often, this game is just gorgeous! Sound 9/10 A few awesome tracks, very japanese sounds overall so it's well done but nothing too memorable Gameplay 10/10 This game is just so fun, it's a 2d side scroller action game with rpg elements, you get new swords every battle, you see new environments and new enemies, the bosses are colossal and just plain epic, the way it's done it feels fresh all the time. Replayability value 9/10 This game has 2 characters, 6 different endings and you are bound to take at least 8 hours on your first playthrough, it's great fun, only bad thing is it doesn't have a multiplayer mode so it may get boring sometime, but online games do too so no worries Overall rating 10/10 This is the first game in a long time that left me such a good feeling and flavor in my mouth, it's just awesome. Unfinished games These are games I've yet to finish or play extensively therefore I'll just write a few impressions. Cursed Mountain: It has a good story, great feeling and good graphics, imagine it being a budhist silent hill and you got it, it's a good game and considering the lack of thriller games in the wii you should try it. Okami: I love the artstyle of this game, the game feels very smooth to play and is just a great game, my biggest gripe is the huge amounts of texts it throws at you and the slow display speed, this normally wouldn't be more than a pet peeve, however in this game where you get a wall of text just to say that the moon hid, it gets kind of frustrating, I'm also a fast reader so it doesn't help. Bully Scholarship Edition: Imagine a GTA game, with a faster main character, smoother interface, more unlockables, longer story and just more fun overall with a school ambience, you got bully scholarship edition, you unlock so many things, and there was so much detail put into a lot of the things that it's just great. Sonic and the secret rings: I played the first chapter and I HATED this game, the controls are not as responsive as I expected them to be, the story is too clichè even for a sonic game, what should be side missions and optional are forced down to you to continue and I just hated it, perhaps could have enjoyed more if I played more but I just couldn't stand it. More to come! |

I found unleashed way more fun, the day stages felt fast and smooth, like sonic games should be, I could enjoy that game and actually finish it, but secret rings just ugh |

I've only played the 360 version so I don't know how much it differs, but the Unleashed day stages were very poor imho. Not as poor as the night stages, but still very poor and over rated(not that that means much). The day stages were mindless and only about speed. For some reason people think to have this stereotype that sonic games were about speed. This is true. . . in a sense. The sonic games of yesteryear were always more about platforming than it was speed and it seems Sonic Team has forgotten this. Which also doesn't get my hopes up for Project Needlemouse(I'll still check it out though) |

Well between mindless speed and mindless boring speed (wtf?) I prefer mindless speed,I can't help but think though, that if the speed is the main focus of the game and they are doing it for mindless fun, then why not do it faster? |

I think anyone would, but its still not what sonic is REALLy about. Its what his character is about, but not the games. |

Sonic and the secret rings can get to play fast and smooth, you just need to get to like level 50 or 60 to do it. I enjoyed it though, not as much as Sonic Rush Adventures. |

One of the major turn offs of Secret Rings was the controls were like what Omar said, unresponsive. I don't mind dying at something that requires skill, but when I die at a game that's not my fault it gets annoying. The game had an epic ending though, I'll give it that, and the story book style was a nice touch and had some charm. |

Sonic would move left and right for me pretty well, but when there were crucial jumping points is where problems arose. |
