From now on, I'm going to do a weekly list of game releases for the Wii, as well as a short commentary on these games. I'll try to keep up with it myself, but if I forget, someone remind me :P 10/26 North America Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? Game Time Ghost Mansion Party Golden Axe Hasbro Family Game Night 2 Nerf 2: N-Strike Elite Ni Hao, Kai-Lan: Super Game Day SpongeBob's Truth or Square Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 3: Lair of the Leviathan World of Zoo Zombies Ate My Neighbors 10/27 North America All Star Cheer Squad 2 Arcade Shooter: Illvelo Arcade Shooting Gallery Arcade Shooting Gallery with Gun Barbie and the Three Musketeers BEN 10: ALIEN FORCE Vilgax Attacks Big League Sports: Winter Sports Cocoto Surprise CSI: Deadly Intent DanceDanceRevolution DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 DanceDanceRevolution Hottest Party 3 (Bundle) DJ Hero DJ Hero (Renegade Edition) Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter Dreamworks Madagascar Kartz Dreamworks Madagascar Kartz (w/Wheel) Geon Cube Hidden Mysteries: Titanic iCarly Jewel Quest Mysteries Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer (w/Wheel) Mountain Sports Press Your Luck 2010 Edition Safari Adventures Africa SimAnimals Africa Vegas Party Water Sports Japan Castlevania the Adventure ReBirth Championship Lode Runner Face Off Rolling Thunder 2 Sonic & Knuckles 10/28 North America Wii Play For Fun Australia Bakugan Battle Brawlers Cars Race-O-Rama 10/29 Japan Chin Sports Super Robot Taisen Neo Tsumi to Batsu: Uchuu no Koukeisha 10/30 Europe 101-in-1 Party Megamix Arcade Zone Cars Race-O-Rama DJ Hero DJ Hero (Renegade Edition) Dragonball: Revenge of King Piccolo Ju-on: The Grudge Manic Monkey Mayhem Mountain Sports Science Papa SimAnimals Africa Wii Fit Plus Wii Fit Plus (w/Balance Board) ____________________________________________________________ Could we seriously have gotten MORE crap? The only good game releases here are either VC or Wiiware... DJ Hero might be worth taking a look at, as long as you don't mind shitty rave music. The whole record spinning thing is a good concept, as long as they do it well and don't make it shitty. Drawn to Life also sounds pretty cool, its a platformer where you get to draw in stuff to help you out. Sounds kinda badass, I might take a look at that in the future. Japan got lucky, man. They're getting Castlevania: Rebirth already. Can't wait for the NA release. One more thing, I noticed a sequel to Wii Play... maybe they'll improve on the last one? Some more games, maybe? Online would be nice to see. Also curious as to what the Wii Fit+ is. Is it the board, or just the game? So overall, this week is going to be pretty shitty release wise, but hopefully next week will be better. And a little info to whet your appetite for gaming, I read about a possible Goldeneye remake for the Wii. I don't know how that's going to work, but we'll have to wait and see. ~the-pulse Edited by the-pulse, Oct 26 2009, 04:46 PM.

Drawn to Life looks fun. Kiddish on the surface, but it seriously looks fun as hell. |

FFF-Wii Play = Win. For one reason, and one reason only: Tanks! D: My brother an I can play that stupid tanks game for hours. But yeah, I agree, the majority of that is crap. =/ But whatever earns another buck, right? |

Drawn to Life was mediocre, it was fun designing your character, but the gameplay itself(which plays no bearing on your creation itself) was mediocre at best. It got boring after only a few stages. The original developers aren't working on the Wii version(5th Cell) so I dunno if that's a good or bad thing. They seem to be decent though, Locke's Quest and Scribblenauts are both good games, however they also suffer from annoying issues, such as controls. And Wii Fit Plus is just the original Wii Fit but with more workouts and some adjustments to its presentation and interface. You can buy it stand alone for $20 or $100 with the board. Oh and Wii PLay for Fun is NOT a sequel. Its from a shitty shovelware publisher. Posted Image Edited by Hyper Metal Sonic, Oct 26 2009, 05:21 PM.

If you own Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and buy Sonic and Knuckles you'll be able to get Sonic 3 and Knuckles, is that win or is that win? (You can also get the other lock on games D:) |

Woah, wait, what? You can actually do the Sonic & Knuckles combo with the stuff you buy for your Wii?! That's the only reason i hadn't bothered with those two games yet is because I have them for the Genesis. But now that I found out that they don't work anymore, I just might have to look into that. >.> |

I loved Sonic and Knuckles on the Sega Genesis. It made me happy when I bought the mega collection for the GCN a year ago. |
