The city, the escape from Virus #2, the life on a small island...the return.....it all kept playing in her mind. Oh, how long ago had it all been, now seemed like in another life. She wouldn't have believed it all, if it hadn't been for the view from her window, the view to familiar skyscrapers. The city was busy yet again, maybe not quite as busy as it had been five years ago when she had left on board of a small cramped up boat, but still - busy enough. And weird as it was, she gladly stayed away from the hassle, she was content. Or was she? Yes...yes, she was. She was happy now. Rules:
WANTED: Slade, Ruby, Trudy, Lex...and anyone not on the list yet who could return CITY: Amber (23) TAKEN by Amber- lives in a white suburban house over at sector 4, far from the inner city. She's a lot more settled than she used to be, and has devoted herself to raising Bray jr. Together with Jay, and engaged to him for a year now. Three years ago, they broke up for six months, and Jay left for a while, but the couple got together again and a few months after, Jay asked Amber to marry her. She accepted the offer, and has been wearing his ring since, making wedding plans. Has little contact to former Mallrats, except for Trudy whom she considers her best friend to this date. Bray jr: (6) TAKEN by Patsy  Jay (24) TAKEN by Ebony- lives with Amber, is leading city Militia and that keeps him quite busy most of the time. Is happy with Amber, but can't fully understand why she doesn't want to have more babies - he'd really like one of his own, though Bray jr. considers him a father and knows no different. Jay took a long journey to look for Ved and was away for 4 months - but never found his brother and instead decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Amber, so he returned to the city and proposed to her.  Salene (23) TAKEN by Alice - is the President of Wellington City. She's independant quick and witty, beaming confidence all around.Most people are dazed by her appearance and it helps her a lot with her job. She's single and keeps telling herselfr that she wants to stay that way - no commitments, no kids. Hasn't met any of the former Mallrats for three years now, not since she arrived back to Wellington. Salene was offered the position of President almost immediately by Jet, former president who remembered her from earlier as a Mallrat and capable city leader. Four months later, Salene won the elections - a lot of the success was due to Jet who was popular at the time and supported her campaign.  Ebony (22) TAKEN by Ebony- is married to Slade and doesn't seem to be powetr hungry as she used to be. Loves his man and is best friends with Ruby now, also co-owner of Ruby's bar. But deep down, she is still yearning for something...something more, not really sure what that would be. Lives in sector seven, upstairs from the bar.  Slade (24) - that man has found peace and happines he had been looking for. Together with Ebony, confident and happy. He made peace with his brother Josh long ago,when visiting the Horton Bailey Hotel, that was destroyed by the explosion. He's been able to move on, and no longer blames himself...or so it seems.Slade is working as a mechanic and is widely known as the man who can fix anything.  Ruby (21) - proud owner of the most successful bar in the city - "Sector Seven Saloon". She has become something of a guardian angel to all outcasts - unwillingly, but her good nature just seems to draw them in. She is a mother figure to Lottie and is worried about her.  Lottie (15) - TAKEN by Cle_Ve - Lottie has grown into a young woman, and decides she better behaves that way, too. She loves living above the bar and meeting all the new people....that is, when she doesn't have to help with anything. If she's told to, Lottie rather runs off and hangs out at the nearby market with friends. Lottie is looking for love, and determined to find someone special, for sure. No more stealing for her, but still, sometimes she's a troubled girl.  Ram (25) TAKEN by Tai-San- runs the power plant, but this time is strongly superwised by Jay's Militia and has rather little power. He's unhappy with that, but can't find a way to change much abut it.  Trudy (23) - living in a two-bedroom flat downtown (Sector ten) with her daughter, Brady (9 years old). Two months ago, she ended a stable relationship with Lex after almost a year of togetherness, now feels rather heart-broken trying to find new activities to keep her busy, and wonders if maybe she should find somewhere else to live....since Lex just keeps trying to contact her.  Brady (9) TAKEN by Patsy - a lovely young girl, bright and happy. Lex (24) - visits Ruby's bar a little too often, which was the main reason Trudy ended their relationship. His drinking problem has been gradually worsening. He likes to show up at Trudy's place every once in a while (mostly when drunk), trying to win her back.  RETURNEES: Patsy (18) TAKEN by Patsy- she's running, running for her life and that is all she knows. Why? She doesn't remember, desperate as she is. She has a map and that's a good thing, because that's the only thing she knows now. She has to get back, go to that city, and she has to find her way there, then maybe...maybe she will remember. [Bray (25) TAKEN by Alice - a man who's life crashed and fell to pieces six years ago, now has built it up again, and become a leader of Nomads, a small tribe that lives in the countryside, moving from place to place occasionally. His tribe is small, but strongly bound together, people he's proud of - and with every right, they have been through a lot. Lives together with Cassie, and has a stable life - until the day she falls ill and he has to find a cure for her  Tai-San (23)TAKEN by Tai-San - Found the eco tribe and lives happily growing her own food with them, she travels to the city every now and then to sell goods. She still is known for her story telling and practitioner of alternative healing. Still very sure of her belief's she is often considered annoying to some and hardheaded to others.  Ved (20)TAKEN by Cle_Ve - Ved got back to the city still looking for Cloe but he gave up the search. He went in the forest trying to get back to the city finding his brother and the rest of the mallrats, he is alot different against Virts cause he is one now.. Runs into Bray and is now traveling to the city to find a cure to his Cassie  Gel (18) TAKEN by Gel - Gel- Now a more mature girl then she was in her youth, now 18 years old Gel is comfortable with her way of life. She too, has moved from the Mall and is living in Sector 10. Downtown offers the most activity and she has always felt at home in busy places. She did not leave the Mall alone, Sammy couldn't bear to part from her and came with her. He claimed it was or her protection. Gel didn't mind, it gave her a completely devoted companion. When she's not enjoying the gossip amongst town, she spends her time doing hair and doing make overs on those in town.  Sammy TAKEN by Gel - Unwilling to let Gel leave the Mall alone, he went with her. Grown into a tall lanky man, he's matured into an accountable person who still wants to help people. Now no longer a teenager he spends his time with Gel around the town. When he's not at her side, he's running some trades in town. May - TAKEN by May May is bitter that her friends have so little time for her. Since they moved back to city, everyone has had so much to do, Salene is an important person now, Amber has abandoned their Tribe and moved in with Jay with her kid, and all the rest of them are living their separate lives now. May has formed a friendship with Trudy, she's seen how Lex hurts Trudy and Trudy's cried on her shoulder several times. May has told Lex to back off and adviced Trudy to leave him. May still loves Pride and misses him and doesn't want to get involved with anyone. She regrets that Salene doesn't feel comfortable around her; obviously she's avoiding her and keeping herself busy (May doesn't know how much of that is just to avoid her!). May isn't really sure how she feels about Salene, they haven't seen each other for so long. Once May thought she had feelings for Salene, yet she was still greaving Pride and her mind was really messed up by Paradise, Pride's death and Mega's schemes, and everything that was going on around them. May would like to find something productive to do that would keep her mind off from these issues. She still doesn't feel like she belongs anywhere, she misses her tribe but doesn't feel that she has so much in common with the former mallrats that she could do something about it, Trudy is really her only friend at the moment. She realises she's been too much on her own and thinking about stuff that's going around her that she isn't really sure whats happening in the city, she knows Jay has an important position and that Ram is working for him, but not much else. She steals her own food. Jay has taken care that they all have good homes to live in so May is living in a nice appartment not too far from Amber and Jay's place. May has realised there's some jealousy over the fact that as a former mallrat she has these nice advantages although she's not really doing anything useful. She gets very uneasy about those hateful looks. Her mind is in lot of better place now, but she'd stll like to find something productive to do, to be useful and feel like she belongs. Luke - TAKEN by May Luke has managed to escape from Guardian who had him a prisoner for a short period. Since then the Technos came, and actually there was this other tribe, called the Warps who took them both prisoners. Luke doesn't know what happened to the few faithful Chosen guards, who weren't captured with them. Luuke managed to escape with some other prisoners and as far as he knows, the Guardian is still working there with other "Discards" at Warps' prisoncamp. Luke doesn't really want to walk against any of the Chosen, and hopes there aren't any of them left in the city. Luke knows now that the Guardian was crazy, but doesn't wish anything too bad on him and after all hopes he's alive. He regrets having wasted so many years for first the Locos then the Chosen, but then again he doesn't feel like it was anyone else's fault. He needed to belong somewhere, and if Guardian wouldn't have been a crazyman, maybe the Chosen could have contributed something good to this world, he really had believed so. Luke's style now is a lot of different from the Chosen (as we saw late in the 3th season). That crazy blue haircut and colourful clothes(jeans and a shirt) and a blue vest. Since you've thankfully given me Gel (who from what I read was about 13 when it started, 5 years later she'd be about 18) I think I'll take Sammy who's probably about the same age. Once I know if I got Sammy I'll write up the bios. |

Gel - I guess Sammy would be good, but for the story to flow I actually need the characters written out up there already....so maybe you could take Slade? But if you really want Sammy, you can take Sammy.

I'm not that much of a Slade fan >.< I don't know if I could get into his head. (That and I didn't like that he and Ebony were together or Ebony for the most part >.<) I just don't think I could do him justice |

And weird as it was, she gladly stayed away from the hassle, she was content. Or was she? Yes...yes, she was. She was happy now. Amber turned from the window, her eyes scanning the large living room. Jay was supposed to get home soon, from another long day away. She smiled to herself vaguely, brushing a few stray hair from her face: she had cleaned up everything, this place was spotless. Of course, once her son got home, it wouldn't stay this way....but this was life. Amber decided it was time for her to head to the kitchen and start making lasagne, the one food she knew everyone loved. |
