I have a favor to ask..

I have a picture of my rabbit, who died over a year ago, but the bars are pretty much in the way. I wanted to ask if anyone here is so good at photoshop they can remove it? I know PS, but I certainly can't do this.

Here is the picture:

I really hope someone can help me out :)

Thanks in advance!

Hi Anne,

I think this is almost impossible as there are too many bars and they are too thick - but I can paint the little fellow for you if you like. Do you have one or two other photos too, so I can see the details?

Well, I tried. But it's very difficult, especially removing those bars from the face which I'm not able to do correctly. So I'm affraid your Jimmy looks a little bit like zombie on those :P. Mayby somebody will do it better.

Hey girls, thanks for your replies!

@Ina: Wow, if you could that, it would be awesome! Unfortunately, I only have one other picture (wish I'd made a 1000!) but I can scan the other one for you and I'll post it here. Thanks so much!

@Rains (sorry, I don't know your name!): thanks for your effort. It looks a bit weird but I understand it's a very difficult thing to do. Thanks so much for doing it, though, I really appreciate it!! :)

My name is Karolina.

I know it looks weird. But it was best I could do, so I decided to show it anyway. Almost whole right side of rabbits face is hidden behind the bars and its very hard to restore it (for me it's impossible, as you can see :P). I think portrait will be a better idea, unless you know somebody really good at photomanipulations.

Hi Karolina,

this is a great job you did! Did you use the "copy stamp" brush for restoring the fur where the bars had been?

I'm not so good with image manipulations, I confess. And this pic is really tricky as, like you said, half the rabbit's face is hidden.

Hi Anne,

yes, a second picture would be fine. I can't really see the color of his eyes on this one as there's a reflection in them. Are they brown? Anyway, he was a cute little guy. How old did he get?

I had a rabbit too and he reached the incredible age of 13 years - even the vet was smashed, he said this is very unusual. Now I have my ratties - they're way more intelligent than rabbits, but sadly their life is limited to 2 - 3 years only... :(

Yes I used mostly clone stamp and also healing brush and brush tools. And I tried to copy parts of left side of rabbits face, and distort it to fit the right side, but it is too difficult job for me.

@Karolina: nice to meet you! I'm still greatful you did this for me ^_^
Nope, I don't know anyone who's really good at photomanipulations, that's why I asked here :)

@Ina: Yes, his eyes are dark brown. He was 8.5 here's old, which is pretty old for a dwarfrabbit :) He was an awesome little guy and even though I decided to take a new rabbit (a girl this time) I still miss him :)
Here's the other picture. It's still not a great picture to do work with in Photoshop, I know, but I hope you can use it.
(He was younger in this picture, btw//random fact)

How cute  I love animals so much. I can easily understand that you still miss him.

I've saved both pics and will see what I can do. :)

I've already started it but it may take some days to finish as I just got the news that my mom has to go to hospital tomorrow. I hope it's nothing serious; however, maybe I'll not be in a painting mood the next days. But I won't forget it.

Hi Anne,

finally, here's your rabbit  My mom's doing a little better now and, although they didn't finish all examinations, they didn't find anything serious so far, so I'm a bit relieved and in painting mood again.
