100% Monk Approved Posts: 190 Group: Admin Member #9 Joined: May 13, 2008	So what did everybody think of this episode? I thought it was better than the season premier mostly for the fact that it focused much more on the murder than the previous episode. The genius did begin to grate on me by the end of the episode, though I thought that doing a sort of Holmes/Moriarty tribute was an interesting way to do the episode. The murder itself I thought was a bit tame. I thought a super genius might come up with something a little more creative than poison, and I was also disappointed that Monk was so quick to go with the whole planting evidence thing, I thought he had much more willpower than that. And does anyone else find the lack of "wipe, wipe, wipe!" this season a little strange? They really haven't done anything to showcase and new (or even previous) phobias. The "we should kiss" line i thought was hilarious, but only because I thought the writers did it to provoke Monk/Natalie shippers :lol: all in all it was a step up from last week, and the cold open was hilarious, but I think this season is starting a little bit slow so far.
