Inevitable is watching the pokemon anime again after finding an awesome website with awesome episode review on it. I started on the last one I watched back in the Orange Islands. Today I watched Ash's first Gym Battle against Falkner after he'd travelled around Johto for 16 episodes. It had too little of Team Rocket in it. Although the mysterious appearene of Arbok from behind Jesse (she didn't send it out!) was very... dodgy... Then they were blasting off again, sadly. Cue Gym Battle. Ash sends out Chikorita (The very Chikorita that beat Bulbasaur and took on Charizard!), who appears to be infatuated with Ash, against Hoot-hoot. The bizarrely evil Falkner proclaims it not to stand a chance because of typing. This being only 5 minutes since he stated that people underestimated flying types because of their electric weakness. Hoot-hoot slaughters it. Ash sends out Pikafreak, which swiftly takes than and a Dodrio out, before being KOd by an oversized pidgeon. CUE CHARIZARD. I think we all know where this battle is going now! Oversized flying rat vs. Fire Breathing Dragon of doom which later managed to beat Articuno (being the first normal pokemon to ever defeat a legendary). All in all, not enough Team Rocket, and Johto seems to be filled with distractions. |

Kanto+Johto were pretty okay really.But from Hoenn Advanced onwards, its been dirty balls :¦ *Remembers flaw from Johto* HOW LONG DOES IT F*****G TAKE TO GET TO F*****G OLVINE CITY!?!?!?MY GOD!!!FILLER AFTER F*****G FILLER!!!

PREPARE YOURSELF FINE USERS FOR THE FOLLOWING THEORY WILL SHOCK AND DISTURB YOU. The Twerps cheat more than Team Rocket. They really do. I mean, YES Team Rocket use giant mechas, but that's not really cheating as they're not using them as pokemon. But in actual pokemon battles, the Twerps always cheat. Just now in this episode with a Sudowudo Jesse was engaged in a completely legitimate battle with a Sudowudo. It takes out her Arbok, so she sends in Wobuffet. Ash doesn't like this and sends out Cyndaquil to tackle Wobuffet, intervening in something that's none of his business. Of course, Jesse can't have this, so she changes targets. Poor stupid Ash looks like he's in trouble, but then Misty sends out her Poliwhirl making it a 2v1! James and Meowth haven't even moved throughout all this and Sudowudo's not doing anything. There's no giant machines, or rockets or whatever. It's a normal pokemon battle and they cheat. And they called Team Rocket the villains? This is not an isolated incident. It happens in several episodes. |

Theres just as many incidents when team rocket throw out all their pokemon to attack one pokemon *cough* CATERPIE *cough* either way, it matters not. Team rocket are the real winners anyhow |

*Shrug* Ash did that for his Plain Badge. I'm serious. He used Cyndaquil, Totodile, and exhausted Pikachu, defeating Miltank and somehow that won him the battle? A 3v1 is very fair. |

he didnt use all 3 at once, so the battle was perfectly fair. I use my team of 6 pokemon against trainers with 1 or 2 pokemon regularly in the games. |

But in the anime they always do this "it will be a 3v3 battle" etc etc. But I agree about Team Rocket. They're the real stars of the show. |
