(Because it's just not a themed mafia without the theme in the name) The Capital Wasteland... it wasn’t a great place to live, but it was pretty peaceful. Well, ever since the Enclave had been defeated and all the Super Mutants had died of... um... gravy poisoning. Yup, everybody was getting along just fine now. The sun was shining, the birds were... well there were no birds. And the sun was always shining because it didn’t rain anymore. Ah well, at least the people had Project Purity to give them fresh, clean water. After all, it was being looked after by none other than Boohistory. If she couldn’t distribute water fairly and evenly among the people then who could? There was, however, a problem. The community of Pokemonline Town had sent Villy Trebuchet to collect some water a couple of days ago and she hadn’t returned. Supplies were running low, so they sent out a search party of their sixteen bravest citizens to find the problem. When they reached Project Purity, the bravest and most handsome member of the group, Sheepling, was the first to enter. However, for all his bravery and handsomeness, he was not very perceptive and stepped right into a bear trap on top of a plasma mine connected to a piece of string that set off a shotgun and a grenade hanging down thingy (I can’t remember what they were called) which was connected to any other traps from Fallout 3 I’ve forgotten to mention. Long story short, Sheepling died. As the remaining 15 members of their squad entered, checking for traps everywhere (Though this was surely pointless as they must have all been used up by now) they discovered the corpse of Villy Trebuchet. She had been impaled by the corpse of Boohistory which had been flung through the air by a very similar trap to that which had killed Sheepling, which had been hidden behind her desk. CJMiller’s corpse was there too. On Boohistory’s computer they found a cryptic note, dated the day before.
Alright, so maybe the note wasn’t THAT cryptic. The remaining Pokemonline Towners gasped. What would they do now? Night was coming soon and they’d have to set up camp at Project Purity... but would they be truly safe here? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. President EconomicBiscuit Survived 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. The Pokmonline Town search party gathered the next morning to a horrible discovery. One of their own had been murdered. phalanx's cold dead body was lying at the entrance of Project Purity. Of course, his body had been cold and dead for a long time, as he was the stalwart ghoul manservant of Herbert "Daring" Dashwood, Argyle. Now, though, his cold dead body was accompanied by his cold dead death. Above his head, scrawled on the door, was the message <-None of these->. The group decided they should move on from here before nightfall. However, they were also determined that phalanx would be avenged... Day 1 begins. Lynch votes in bold. Phalanx has one death post. |

Well quoting the post, on either side of the "None of these" comment, is of course a [u] (or a /u on the right). However if we're to assume it's a reference to the Us, well, all members except Mudson and EB are without the letter U, so it's likely not this. Square brackets also makes little sense. Of course, it could also refer to the door itself. Which...is also not much help =/... |

See I was thinking along the lines of none of these being the . at the end, but after reading what you said, it'd make more sense. Most obvious name that's missing a U - Sqeak... You know, I am going to withdraw my lynch for the now, Kinneas has put a decent case towards Havak, and that clue against Sqeak seems a rather bit easy.... Kinneas has a good point, though this all really sits on the relevance of the arrows; are they there to distract us or do they have a purpose. |

Hmm, I can only go on Kinneas is saying here. It makes the most sense, and I can't see anything else apart from maybe the arrows pointing to 'e' and the dot. That doesn't lead me anywhere though. I reckon Kinneas is right. Edited by Frostie, Oct 27 2009, 01:33 PM.
