(Alright, AoG, I've waited far longer than I probably should have. Until you finally get your character up, we'll just assume he's either not speaking or speaking with someone else.)
With a slight distortion in space and a brief flash of light, the Chariot arrived in orbit around Planet SZ0813. As the streams of energy from the jump peeled away from the front viewport, those inside the small ship were treated to a breathtaking sight. The sun was just peeking around the rim of the planet, sending up shafts of light. The rings of rocky debris orbiting the planet scattered the light magnificently, but they were less attention grabbing that what lay on the planet's surface. A massive hole a continent wide was gaping on the planet, laying bear its glowing molten core. The source of the rings, which hadn't been there when surveyors had first arrived, became apparent as those inside the Chariot saw the trail of rock leading from the hole to the final thing they noticed: the USG Prometheus.
The man made monolith was nearly as impressive as the planet itself. It dwarfed any ship any of those inside the Chariot had ever seen. It's mining gear was deployed, giving the the impression of a monster reaching down with steel tendrils to tear the planet apart.
"Well damn, there it is" exclaimed the copilot, Ross Richmond, from his seat at the controls. "They were right, you have to see that thing for yourself. They say that they need over one thousand crew members just to keep it running, and that it can comfortably house many more. It's like a floating city."
He turned, grinning to those crowding the window behind him.
"Do you suppose they have a good bar?"

"Scans indicate planet to have class 1 habitation. Permanent settlements: zero. Indigenous sentient life forms: zero. Suitable docking locations: one. Awaiting instructions." Droned Endran's ship's computer in a flat, pleasant female voice.
Endran reclined in his chair. Hands behind his head and his feet propped up on the control panel. His eyes shifted lazily from a deep blue to a dull green.
"Bring up an image of the landing location on the main screen."
Instantly, the windshield of the bridge was converted into a massive HUD. The image of the misty planet around which the ship was orbiting was blocked out by a second image, Revealing a segment of the surface of the planet.
The landing zone in question appeared to be in the middle of a vast jungle type environment, generally not conducive to landing a craft as large as Endran's. However, there was more to the image than just trees. Bursting out of the canopy was a massive stone landing pad, at least several thousand yards across. It was strewn with vegetation and, curiously, many abandoned crafts in various stages of neglect. They were just sitting there as if the owner had just landed, walked off, and never came back. Endran smiled. He was concerned he would have had to search the whole planet for his destination.
"Set a landing course for the ruins."
"Proceeding. Prepare for atmospheric descent."
Endran buckled himself in as the screen flicked off and the planet looming ahead began to draw closer. His eyes had shifted from the dull green to an eager yellow.
"This ought to be interesting."

Prologue
"Why have you come here?"
"I do not have all my questions answered yet. All of the ones you closed previously have just opened even more."
"You may never have all of your questions closed. But some will do."
"So you'll answer me?"
"We'll see."
"Bane's Code still stands. You are not the Dark Lor-"
"Do not question my knowledge of the subject. I am well aware of my status."
"But you still proclaim?"
"I have proclaimed nothing. Any word you have heard was on the wind."
"The wind needs something to pick up, though."
"What is your question."
"Who is it going to be?"
"What is that to you? Why would you need this answered?"
"For the fear of it being one of my own."
"Why would it be one of yours, while I have mine."
"Yet you do not yet know which of them to choose?"
"No. I have the few here, but none of them have the potential needed. I know what I want, if that is what you are inquiring."
"I have no doubt. You sound to be suggesting you have someone else in mind, which strengthens my fear."
"Then be afraid."

Our story begins like every story before it thats worth telling, with a girl.
Young Raelyn wakes up to face the day. Being a trainer wasnt easy, being a gym leader was even harder. As of late she was facing a lot of tough trainers and losing quite a lot. While Leaders tend to get used to losing this always hit her hard. Her dissatisfaction with her gym and herself only grew as time went on. She stood at the foot of her bed shaking off the sleep. "Today is going to be good." She told herself as she got dressed.
Today was an early start for her. Hopefully one that would yield more happiness then the day before. As she slid her pack on her back she was greeted my her friend Mime Jr.
Mime Jr. or just 'Junior' as Raelyn called him. Was a friendly sight and she welcomed his happy smile as he hopped onto her shoulder. With Junior she knew this would be a good day. Unfortunately nature wasnt on her side today. It was raining, hard. This was something that would not bode well for her mostly outdoor gym.
As she trudged to her gym she noticed a commotion up ahead. People were shouting various profanities as police sirens wailed. Raelyn ran to investigate, kicking up mud behind her as she did so.
The scene was panicked, a man in brown was standing beside a Starmie that was shooting water at the police. "What is happening here?" She asked the nearest policeman not being attacked. "This mans pokemon went missing, so he called us. Problem is we cant do anything, we are too overtaxed with these kinds of things right now." He said spitting water out as he spoke.
"These kinds of things?" Raelyn asked, knowing what he meant. Lately pokemon have been coming up missing. The police force has been out in full force but so far not leads could be found.
"These pokemon, they just keep...." He started to say as a flash of purple landed right behind them. After the blinding flash had passed a man in a violet overcoat could be seen standing next to an Alakazam.
Gasps and awes could be heard as the Alakazam launched a blinding beam at the Starmie, send it flying into a nearby tree. Raelyn recognized the man at once. This was the seventh gym leader, Jin. The small crowd that had formed cheered and clapped as the man with the starmie was taken into custody. Jin simply bowed and disappeared into the wind. Just another day for Ravail's own superhero.
Jin was a local hero of sorts. As soon as word got out about a crime, Jin was there to help the police. He was an accoplished trainer with a heart of gold. Everyone loved him but at the same time hated to battle him, as he was simply brutal in a Pokemon battle.
(Everyone post a quick intro so we can get this party started!)
((Also In case anyone didnt see I will be posting the city and gym list in the sign up))

(Ok, simply post your character's intro and we'll move on from there. I suppose that a good place to start could be some sort of yoma hunt. Though for the time being, try to keep it to normal yoma until we progress far enough.)
Laela walked slowly and with caution down the lane of a market. She had been dispatched to take down several yoma residing in a town. The report that had summoned her there said that there were seven. A townsman that happened to be walking by Laela suddenly exploded as he bloodily landed on the ground in many ragged pieces; make that six yoma.
The sudden death sparked a small panic within the crowded market. Laela paid them no mind as she kept on walking, that's when the attack came. She was suddenly surrounded by six ferocious beasts, all wanted a piece of her. In a movement, faster than the eye could see, they all burst to tiny pieces and fell to the ground, no longer living.
A man, most likely the one who had sent for aid, came running up to Laela with a shocked expression. He hefted a large sac of money and attempted to give it to her, "We did our best to meat the price, it was quite expensive."
"Save it for a man in black, he'll be here later to pick it up," Laela said politely as she continued walking, now towards the exit of the town. People finally began to recover from the shock of seeing one person take down seven yoma in a mere few seconds.

A Deathly Mistake
A periodic ticking filled the blank mind of Jacob Greene as his eyes concentrated on the clock, following it's rough movement around the circle.
As the seconds passed, Jake's breath thinned. He stood behind the register at the pizzeria he worked at, dressed in a green apron that read the words 'Taylor St. Pizza,' along with a matching hat. Thirty seconds until five-forty five. Thirty seconds until he got off work, and was free to drive over to the party his friends had planned that he was already fifteen minutes late to.
Every weekday he did this. Once he left school, he drove over to the pizzeria, where he worked until five-forty five. The last five minutes of his shift were spent staring blankly at the clock, until he would run out the door, leaving his apron and cap in a pile in the corner, and jump into his car. Mondays through Thursdays, he drive back to his house to get school work done. Fridays he usually drove off to a friend's house. Every day. Every week. The same thing.
The ticking of the clock stopped. Jake's mind came back into focus from the slight aversion from his routine. He stared up at the clock, which read that it was five-forty four, the second hand staying on the fifty-ninth second. It was stuck.
He was stuck, he thought. He was the one stuck. Stuck in an endless, one-way circle that wasn't stopping. Every day was the same thing. Every week was the same thing. And it was going to be the same, and he couldn't do anything about it. Except-
"Clock's broken," Jake called over to his boss, who was working in the back. He walked out the door, but instead of routinely throwing his work uniform in the corner, he threw it in the trash can next to the door. Once out the door, instead of routinely walking to his parked car, he walked to the edge of the parking lot that bordered a highway.
Cars sped down the road, all of them eager to get home and continue their daily schedules after work. Fathers going home from the office to eat dinner and play with their kids. Mothers returning from their weekly run to the supermarket. They were all stuck too. But Jake was about to free himself.
He looked down the highway and located a red sportscar that looked promising, as it sped down the road at what must've been at least ninety. A teenager, experiencing the thrill of danger and risk. All of it was meant to be. But what Jake was about to do wasn't.
The red car was seconds away from passing where Jake stood when Jake made the jump into the road. But was this meant to be too, Jake thought. But it was too late. The driver of the red car didn't even have enough time to slam down on the break pedal.
"Apparently it was meant to happen, because I had it on my schedule," rang a voice. Jake opened his eyes to see nothing. Or what appeared to be nothing, for all he saw was a deep, black void. Was this-
"No, it's not Hell," rang the voice again. Jake jumped, and turned to see the owner of the voice and gasped. In front of his very eyes was Death. "But don't get your hopes up, because it's not Heaven either, buck-o."
If Jake had still been mortal, he would've said something, but fear ran through his veins as he stared into the deep shadows that were cast over Death. In a physical form, Death took what was to be his personification to mortals. A rough, folded black cloak covered his entire figure, leave two hands which held no flesh, just bone. The hood of the cloak draped over where his head was to be, shadowing any trace of face he may have. Gripped in his left hand was the crooked, wooden shaft of the feared scythe.
"Don't be afraid, I'm not Satan," spoke the voice of Death, in a tone as if the words were routine to him. "You'll be lucky to meet him though, for there has been something else planned for you. Now, if you'd remain here while I go and collect the others. Heh, as if you had a choice." At that, the personification began to sift away into the void.
"You even have a schedule?" Jake's voice came out, finally able to speak again. Although his heart sunk, for the personification had disappeared.
"Everyone does, kid," came the voice. "Everyone."
((Alright, basic layout. Your introduction post will contain your character's death, and arrival at the void. Death will not be back until everyone is round up, so be quick. Once Death gets back, he'll introduce the plot. Death and Jake are my characters, and we'll go with one mortal until we delve further into this plot. Note the word mortal, we're keeping normal human beings for your first characters staged in present time. But I promise I'll feed your guy's hunger for immortals soon enough. Just be patient.))
((As for guidelines on sign-ups, I don't have a specific template for your mortal. Anything will do, if you wish use my TCftE one. And yeah, I'm going to be strict again, but I might loosen up. Please put some thought into these. Please?))

In the city of Soreh, Heros and Villains clash on a daily basis. Many super villains plot grandiose schemes. Here is where our story takes place. Start with introducing your character, and then I'll get it going.
