In the year 2146, the world was finally seeing an end to the Great Bio War. The war, lasting over a decade reshaped the world along with a great pollution, that seemed to not have an end. The war didn't have great side effects on the planet's inhabitants either. All over the planet, people began to contract new and deadly diseases that scientists could only hope didn't spread. Eventually several countries emerged from amidst the chaos, going on severe quarantines they let no one in, and once one left, they left for good. These countries became the founders of the new world government and alliance. All those that opposed the reform were wiped-out. In the year 2183, the planet was just finishing rebuilding itself under new leadership. It changed very much since the war. However, relations among the people met a dilemma. One of the more "interesting" side effects of the war, was a great influx of genetic mutagens to spread into a small percent of the people, about 5% (of the new population which dropped significantly from the war). It also seemed that the mutations became permanent and were passed down from generation to generation. Afraid that something that might lead to a wider spread of the mutation, the people began to shun those who had contracted the "disease." In the year 2202 a new option for "mutants" has rose. In the central area of the South Atlantic lies an island. On this island a new institution was been built by "mutants" to help their kind find their way in life. Over the next few years the institution gained fame for being a safe haven for those "unfortunate" enough to have the mutated genes. However those who built the institution said that the mutated gene that spread was a gift. They saw it as an increased human evolution and that eventually the entire planet would catch up with them. Due to these views, any mutant that came to their doorstep was accepted. Eventually the mutant population grew to quite large, as hardly any of them left once they came. With the combined efforts of some of the more skilled mutants they acquired several islands to spread out on. Over the next years they grew even larger. As they needed them, they would create more and more islands to create more room. The last consensus report stated they had come up with eight islands and one in development. As they grew, they even became their own country, which attracted the RNFC (Retrieval and Naturalization of Foreign Countries) under the UN (United Nations; not the same as the current one in real affairs). The government of the islands and mutants is run by The University. Now that we know the back story, we can get into the technicalities. The rp will take place three months after the mutants declared themselves their own nation. (September 4th, 2212.) Sign up as you please, but in order to keep things even; for the time being, for each student you make you must also make a teacher. The subject they teach is up to the creator, as long as it isn't one that's already been used. If you would like a specific position as a teacher (excluding principal / headmaster, as that'll be me) either post it here, or PM me with the details. A few other things. One, since we don't have many members, and probably won't for a very long time, I'm asking that everyone makes at least 2-3 student / teacher combos. Two, when we get farther into the rp, I'll be adding to the templates for creating characters belonging to the UN and RNFC. Three, as a reminder, the following are the choices regarding what house you want your characters to be in: Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Theta, Omega, Omicron, Sigma. If you want one of your characters to be in Omicron PM and I'll decide whether or not you can be; since I have a few things in store for those of Omicron. |

Huh, so you want me to make 2-3 student/teacher comboes? That sounds easy enough, but I need you to elaborate; do you mean 2-3 students PLUS 2-3 teachers, or a TOTAL of 2-3 characters? I'm fine either way. |
