Our old introductions thread descended into anarchy, so it needed to be errm retired.

This is the place to tell your fellow 101 members a little bit about you, i.e. when you started supporting Spurs, fave Spurs player, what you do, whether you have any fit sisters etc etc.

I'll start...

I'm 35, in the British Army, and have supported Spurs since 1981, although I only REALLY started following them in 1991. I admit it, I was a glory supporter. WAS being the operative word! I don't have any fit sisters. I started this place because I was bored one day, and then some other bored people turned up and it sort of took off from there.

My favourite Spurs player was Stuart Nethercott Daveeed Ginola.

I woke up here once a couple of years ago and kinda never bothered going home. :bash

Have followed the yids since my brother and a couple of his mates said they'd beat me up if I didn't, which would have to had been somewhere around 1976 ish I'd guess.

First game?

My first game was actually watching Orient play at home under lights against someone else that was equally crap. I tagged along with a neighbour and his brother-in-law to that one but I have no idea WHO we played for my first game at The Lane though. Funny how the first is quite often the one you remember most.

Fav player? Toughy! One would expect Hoddle to top the list of most yids from my age so I doubt my list would be much different to theirs.

Oh and I moved to Australia in 1990. Is it cold and raining where you are? Its nice here! :P

My Dad made me follow Spurs when I was about 7, after I started to take a liking to Newcastle because of the name. I also have a thing for Celtic.

First game was England v Mexico.

First Spurs game was against Everton at WHL, We won 4-1.
I think and Chris Armstrong scored a hat trick. :shock

Fav Player: Ohhh tough one this, Ginola wins it for me, He was sooo good to watch.

I'm 30 years young. Supported Spurs since forever - due to my old man. Found my way here as a refugee from 606.

If not my first game then one of was the 5-0 destruction of the Scum in 1984.

Fav player: one of two: Stevie P or Goddle.

Born & bread in the land of Oz, 255 months old.

Supported Spurs from 2003 when my dad found me playing as ManUre on Fifa 2002 and showed me the light.

Recently started working as a CSO for Bank SA after completing full time study for my Banking & International Finance Degree.

Fave player has gotta be Robbie Keane I think, oh and have one sister..... and a sawn-off shot gun.

21, studying Law at Uni. Supported Spurs from about the age of 4, it was definitely forced upon me. First game I remember is watching a Spurs fifth XI (or something ridiculous) thrash Braintree Town in a friendly. Also remember us beating Notts Forest a while back! I also have a soft spot for Billericay Town FC........I don't know much about them either.

My go then...

I'm 32 and born and raised in west London. been a Spurs fan since the age of 8, around about the time of our UEFA Cup victory against Anderlecht - yes, I guess I'm a glory hunter! :wink

Hadn't gone to any home games until a few years ago, tbh (although I went to a couple of preseason friendiles at QPR), however my first at the Lane was against Blackburn in 2004, I think. The game was won by a JD strike. Not a lot else happened to be honest. Since then I've gone to about 6-8 home games a season. Still not enough to bag Carling Cup final tickets, but I'm getting there.

Fave player has to be Timothee Atouba Teddy Sheringham.

I’m forty-(mumbles something indistinct), live in beautiful rural Suffolk and work at Lloyd’s of London in the City.

I don’t have a sister but I have a very attractive brother (nearly as good looking as me). He lives in Clacton. I have an ugly runt of a brother who is somewhere in the southern hemisphere, I believe.

This good looking elder brother (not Go!, he’s the impressionable younger one I got supporting Spurs) sort of supports Woolwich because our Dad wasn’t into football and a very close uncle and cousin were both Gooners. My earliest memory is of the Woolwich double win in 1971 and of owning what amounted to an Woolwich away kit with my age (6) on the back.

However by 1972 I was Spurs with a collection of posters & whatever with the stars of the time (Chivers, Gilzean, Cyril Knowles, Alan Mullery, Martin Peters, Mike England). I can only suppose this co-incided with the marrying into the uncles family of a Spurs supporter and the jocular ructions it would have kicked off, particularly with another Spurs-supporting uncle, who was a real character. I think I must have decided that Spurs supporters were cooler.

Anyway, being a good bloke, my Woolwich uncle used to take me to Highbury & WHL on successive weekends.

Something in me thinks I ought to wish that perhaps he hadn’t given up, but I have no real regrets at all.

I genuinely can’t remember the first game I went to.

Alrighty then, I guess I'm up.....

Currently 36 (yes, despite all the monthly birthday's that I have), but working rapidly towards 37. I'm a commercial in-house attorney, previously of the currently-tanking new home construction industry, but now in the thriving and skyward bound U.S. auto industry!!!

Anyway, I've been knocking around here and following Spurs for only a few years.....three, I guess at this point. Unfortunately, I've never been to see a Spurs match, but I'm really hoping to some day. I'm getting my two little girls to start yearning to go to WHL, as I keep telling them that we'll take a holiday (vacation) to London in the next few years and go to a game. Both play footy and love the chanting and singing coming from the TV as I watch.

I started following Spurs following the 2006 World Cup. There is an American sports writer (on ESPN.com), named Bill Simmons that I like very much. Anyway, he did extensive research on all the Premier League clubs and decided on Spurs. I thought if he followed them, then I would at least have that avenue to hear some voices and discussion about Spurs. Unfortunately, he's never followed up with anything on the Premier League, although I still enjoy his work very much. Needless to say, I stuck around and have never been happier nor more enthused to follow a team. I guess its really no difference than the crazy uncle that turned you onto Spurs as my Dad was never a sports guy.

My first actual professional football match was likely a Detroit Express game (featuring Trevor Francis) back in the early 1980's, but later went to two World Cup games when it was here in the states (U.S. vs Russia and Brazil vs Sweden).

As for my favorite Spurs player......having only been around for a short while, I'll have to go with our very own Noodles!! Don't know why...he's certainly not the most talented...but just liked him.

Anyway, I've said it before, but I'm glad to be here and glad to be Spurs!!!

Same as Nayim I'm forty something and have been supporting Spurs all my life for as long as I can remember. Was lucky enough to play for the mighty THFC during the late seventies/early eighties before a brain injury cut my career short. After finishing my pro football career I used my £2.5 million insurance pay out 'cos of the brain injury to start a career in business and I now oversee my Global business empire from my yacht which is currently moored in the tax haven of Monte Carlo. My hobbies are bedding super models and debating with a lot of people and some would say I am a bit of a bullpoopter.................................bullpoopter moi?? :S

MY TURN! MY TURN!

I'm 19 almost but not quite almost. Sort of half way between 18 and 19 but not quite half coz it's not quite got to that point yet but almost is. I'm almost 18 and a half! At least I will be in a little while, I hope. I don't like being 18. 17 was much better. I can counts on my fingers.

I used to frequent this board quite...frequently. But now I don't. You may have noticed. I'm not going to tell you why, because I don't want to. Actually, I don't really have a reason. Maybe it's because I have a short attention sp... oh look! Something shiny! Maybe I really do still frequent the board, under another alias. You'll never know. Any of you. I know you still wish I was here - even you, Gnomey - but it's just not meant to be. I'm just the one who got away. Fear not - there's plenty more fish in the ointment.

I have two warnings against my name. I will give prizes to anyone who can guess why. These prizes may or may not exist! Oooh a mystery! I do not condone the giving of prizes to Homey, no matter what his answer to the question is. In fact I don't condone the giving of anything to Homey, including food, shelter and general positive energy. Don't encourage it, he'll only get ahead of himself.

Cubey is old.

I like to remember things...

Mich once had a birthday. And then another one. And then another one. And then another one. We celebrated all of them by making him buy drinks. Slow, but friendly.

Kozi once looked up some lyrics for me coz my internet decided to completely and utterly clusterf**k itself. It then became one of his favourite songs. I did that.

Deeks once needed cheering up so I told him to stop being emo and made him watch YouTube clips about crying. I'm good like that.

Uncy G told me I could be anything I want to be if I set my mind to it. I told him I want to be a stripper.

Atty and I once wrote a love song about Subway. It was magical.

That's all. There's nothing else you need to know about me. But if you're really interested, take a look here.

I'm almost 30 and studying various holistic therapies and am wearing my spurs top now.

My love for tottenham game when I was a kid watching Hoddle on the box when I was 6. My first spurs game was against Man City and Maine Rd in 2001 where Rebrov scored, (sitting in the citeh end). My fave players are: Darren Anderton, Robbie Keane (surprise surprise) and Teddy.

Nothing much else to say.

I was born in Malta in 1956, and came to England when I was 6, so missed the Double year. Started supporting Spurs in 1967, after watching the Cup Final on telly with my dad - he was a Chel$ki fan and I thought I would support the other team to wind him up. Next door neighbour took me to WHL for my first game in 1969 - against Sheffield Wed, we won 1-0, and I had the privelege of seeing Jimmy Greaves play in his final season. For many years, went when I could, as in those days, you paid at the turnstiles - think I paid around 3/6 in old money - equivalent to 17.5 pence today!!!! Remember seeing the second leg of the UEFA Cup Final in 1972, that cost 50p - everyone thought it was an outrageous hike on the usual price. Got season ticket on the Shelf in 1982, and kept it until 6 years ago. Had a magical time going to away games for about 10 years during the mid 80s/early 90s, even took part in a BBC2 documentary about the Spurs Supporters Club around 1985, my 15 minutes of fame. Decided to give up my season ticket about 6 years ago, as discovered a love of travelling, and something had to give, but I kept up my membership, so I get to WHL at least three times a season. Favourite players - Joe Kinnear;Stevie P; Erik Torsvedt; Hod; the gorgeous Daveed. The first thing most people find out about me is that I'm a Spurs supporter! Tottenham 'til I die....

Wonderful Story there Dee

As you will have noted I am not actually a Spurs fan. Well I am but not above the team I actually support. Born in 1955, went to my first match in the 1960's and never looked back since. My father and my Uncle both had season tickets and I soon had my own to go with them (I still have my 1966 season ticket in the cupboard. It cost 9 pounds

I'm Darren, i'm 41 but at the moment my waist is older :shock

I started watching Spurs in about 1972 when i was 4, i vaguely remember the UEFA cup final and am proud to have the programme from that historic moment :banana2

My favourite moment is Ricky's winning goal in the 81 cup final, it still brings a lump to my throat after all those years...that WAS a glory glory moment :spurssign

Is my sister fit?...she used to be, now when she asks me "Does my bum look big in this?" i reply "Yes...but aren't you supposed to take the hanger out as well?" :eyebrow

My first match i went to was in 1979 at home to Notts Forest, that was the game with that wonderful Glenn Hoddle volley from the edge of the box in about 3.49, at least i didn't have to wait long for my first goal :coys

My favourite past player was Glenn Hoddle, my current is still Robbie Keane...i can't help it honestly guys :jol

I live in East London, and i work for EDF Energy...so don't blame me if you're paying too much :scared

Love the name Dr Tinkle, and it has a special significance for me. I care for my elderly Dad who is nearly 80 and has Parkinsons. One of the many jobs I do for him is help him when he needs the toilet. He stands and holds on to his walking frame while I hold a jug underneath and he has a pee. Whenever he feels that he wants to go he calls out, "Terry, I need a Tinkle", so naturally when I saw your name I had a right good chuckle. Welcome to 101 mate and may you keep on tinkling for a long, long time!! :mates
