Raina smiled slightly as she saw Ein run towards her. He, like her, must not have anymore card effective at long range and was making this a fight with blades instead. Not that she was good with a blade but the idea that Ein was in the same position as her made the battle not look completely hopeless... As long as you didn't think about the fact she hasn't even hit him yet. Raina used two more of her card, Paralyze Plus and Sword, and ran at Ein as he came at her. The swords clanged against each other, both of them creating sparks. One of his feet started crackling a bit as well as he quickly hopped back just a little bit kicked at Raina three times using FlickerKick. Raina smiled lightly as their swords locked as she blocked Ein's attack with her own. Not that, that was what she had been going for, but she wasn't going to complain about the outcome. What she didn't know was that Ein already was putting use to another of his cards tell it was too late for she to do much about it. All three of the kicks hit, in quick secession, and knocked her back to the ground. She lay there for a moment before getting up and looking around for Ein. Something was wrong though. Everything was pick black. She blinked hoping that, that would clear up her vision but that didn't work. 'He used FlickerKick.' Raina suddenly realized remembering that it was also one of the cards she had chosen at the beginning of the battle, and it's annoying little after effect of making the person it was used on blind for the battle. Ein rather than slicing at Raina's head, decided to slash at her legs with his Strike Edge, and so he did. He quickly ran by and crouched down a bit as he moved then slashed at her left leg. It would be much harder to move around with damaged legs, and the sword itself did have a paralyzing effect after all. The swords clanged against each other, both of them creating sparks. Pain shot up Raina's leg as she was hit and she clenched her teeth together to keep herself from crying out. She somehow manged she stay on her feet but she noticed quickly she couldn't move. 'Grate, jest Grate.' She thought feeling helpless and irritated. 'I'm now not only blind but I can't move either... Ein definitely knows what he's doing.' She sighed internally and pulsed out knowing full well she wasn't going to be able to continue the fight for long. Raina rubbed her eyes as she could see again trying to clear up the few dark spot in her vision before smiling slightly at Ein. "Looks like you win." She said stating the obvious but not really have much else to say. |

"Ummm...Yeah. I guess." Ein said with a nervous laughter. "Actually, I've already been through tons of simulations like this, so I already had a pretty damaging combo in mind before I even started fighting." Ein said scratching the back of his head. He was a student after all, and what did students do? Study. He pulsed out returning to his regular form. "You're good though. None of the computers I've ever gone against managed to avoid that many attacks from me and bring me to a close range fight with the Strike Edge. Definitely if I did something different with my chosen cards I would have lost." He said. He really did lack some self confidence. He had confidence in his card combo, not him. |

| "Really?" Raina asked not quite sure if he was jest saying that to make her okay with losing or was being honest. She shook her head lightly before looking over at Crage as he walked over. He look as if he was thinking something over... Probably what he thought she did wrong during the fight. "This was the first time fighting at all practically." She admitted shifting her gaze back to Ein. "Thou I did use to watch Crage practice when I was younger." She said omitting who he would have been practicing with. |

Ein nodded. Indeed, she was quick and strong enough, but the problem was, Raina lacked strategy. "The reason why you lost to me wasn't because I'm stronger or faster than you, in fact, you're probably both stronger and faster than me. The reason why you lost, was because you used your strongest chip too early while I had a defensive chip to avoid all of them." Ein explained. His words did have SOME meaning to them. "Also, you can use cards like Flicker Kick while keeping a sword out, letting you score free hits if you manage to connect with the Kicks, and another if you connect with a sword, preferably with a status effect of some sort. Status effects are good. If you got me with that Extinction Meteor and a paralyze plus, I'm pretty much screwed." Once again, he explained. At least he was a REALLY good thinker when it came to such things. He was the smart guy, not the strong jock. |

Crage looked at Ein as he spoke. 'He's not really giving himself all that much credit. He probably could jest as easily beat Raina again without any cards' He thought before looking back to Raina. They were probably going to have to spend the next few weeks working out battle strategies, as Raina didn't normally take a loss and not do anything about it. "You know Ein," Raina started, smiling teasingly at the older boy. "It might not be in your best interest to tell me what I did wrong. Who knows? I might jest win next time." She said before her face became serious again. "Though I think you definitely would have won even without your cards and strategies." Ein did seem like one of thoughts people anyways. Always able to find someway to pull threw. Then again someone with even less battle experience then Ein could find away threw her attacks. |

"Who knows. I think a battle isn't about how you attack, it's about how you respond to them. Countering and setting up traps in a fight can decide it all. For example, All the cards I was using before. ChainBubble, Ice Meteor, FlickerKick and Strike Edge. If I got you with just one of them, you're already vulnerable to every single attack coming up next." Ein said. And he was right. The combo pretty much wouldn't have ended and not only that, if he shifted around the Flicker Kick and Strike Edge, he could have dealt even more damage. "Well, you managed to narrow it down to getting hit by only two of them though. Still, just two was enough." Ein said. "Anyways, I suggest investing in some Invis Battle Cards. That was how I avoided the Extinction Meteors." |

| Raina nodded. "Alright." She said simply not having much else to say again as she looked back down at Crage. "You ready to get out of here?" She asked him. He sighed. "Yeah... Unless you feel like wave changing with me?" He asked hopefully. Raina rolled her eyes. "Still no chance of that yet Crage." She said before looking back to Ein. "I guess we'll be seeing you around. Later Ein." She said as she turned and left the stadium. |

"Alright, see you two later then..." Ein said, waving goodbye as they left. "...No wave changing for us yet, huh Cross?" Ein asked with a shy smile to Cross. "Not quite yet kiddo, soon enough, alright?" Cross responded, floating around Ein's head. "Yeah...I guess so. Shall we be off then?" Ein said. Both of them then exited the stadium, wondering what to do with themselves next. |
