Perfect. He had got their attention without needing to do a tapdance, it seemed. Having expected their response, Era could easily avoid their attacks, which were all linear, by punting his whole body to the left quickly. Given, he hadn't expected Base Gunners having the ability to turn and reposition themselves, earning two clips on the arm and another graze from a bullet where he had moved too slowly, but the wounds were all superficial. Shockwaves from either Metenna passed by without much trouble.

While the Base Gunners were in a state of reloading, Era quickly dashed forward, using his good arm to pull himself up the top of the nearest Base Gunner. Above the virus he perched, birdlike, looking at the battleground with his boosted height. The first stage had complete with minor injuries; now he waited for the second stage of his plan in execution.

The other Base Gunner sensed that its opponent had moved. It couldn't see since, well, it didn't have a head or eyes for that matter. It made this abundantly clear when it opened fire on the Base Gunner Era was perched on. Instead of hitting its opponent, all 7 rounds smashed into its ally. The Mettenna2s looked at each other, confused why the virus attacked its partner, but they shrugged it off as they stared up at Era, wondering what to do. The Goopy wobbled its way toward the Base Gunner, smacking it with its body as if to discipline the virus. Afterward, it glared at Era, knowing he had purposefully tried to trick the viruses into attacking their ally. The Goopy was smarter than the rest, since he was the leader of the group, so generally any of the groups intelligent moves were dictated by it.

Era grinned jubilantly, pumping a fist into the air. The plan had worked, though not as productive a result as he might've hoped for. Well, as long as he stood here, he was mostly safe fron attacks other than the Goopy's. But beinbg on the evasive all the time would achieve nothing now; time for aggressive maneuveurs.

Atop the Base Gunner, Era Wave-Changed, and now he wore a driftskin coat over a light shirt, some thick pants and boots. ...Winter wear? Exa looked to the sky and cursed. His goddarned EM Spirit had a weird taste.

All the same, it would suffice. Digging into his own flesh, Exa let rivulets of blood run down his fingers, before launching them at the virii in a wide crscent arc, the blood becoming into dark strands of Bloody Reapers in mid-air. They moved through a wide cricle, aiming to hit all the virii in an area-of-effect attack.

OOC: Back and ready to kick some tail! Or Vice Versa...Since you're fighting 5 enemies, I'll expand your Bloody Reaper out some more (although thats probably what you assumed would happen)
_______________________________________________________________

Both of the Mettenna2s instinctively took action the moment they felt pain. They ducked down into the safety of their helmets, allowing a little more than half of the attack directed at them to bounce off harmlessly. The Base Gunners weren't so lucky. They didn't have anything they could do for defense, so they were wide open to the bloody shadows. Exa's previous 'safety pole' fell to pieces from the attack, exploding shortly afterward. Does it make sense for a gun to explode in such a way? Not really, but this is Star Force we're talking about. Despite the Base Gunner's lack of defense, the Goopy was quick to be evasive. It changed its form to the safety and protection of a puddle of water just as it had before, completely dodging the attack.

The viruses were quick to defense but slow to attack. After the attack had finished, the Mettenna2s got back up out of their helmets and looked over at the Goopy for further instructions. The remaining Base Gunner, not having eyes or much of a brain for that matter, positioned its turret towards Exa, firing off a full round of shots. The Goopy remained in its safe little puddle.

OOC: Glad to see you back. btw, i think you forgot to deduct damage done to the living Base Gunner.

Admist the crumbling ruins of the Base Gunner Exa walked out, a barrier of swirling dark flames siphoning the smoke around him off. Two bullets had pierced the barrier and embedded themselves in his chest, leaving round holes in his coat, but the damage done was barely a mosquito bite's.

"C'mon big guy. Time to dance. " He activated Moaifall, the rocks falling towards the Mettenna and the hiding Goopy, before summoning an overly large axe to his hand and darted forward, crouching before the immobile Base Gunner. "This is how we do back in my hometown..." He informed the virus, before bringing the BigAx up to slash through the rapid-firing turrent diagonally up.

OOC: Whoops. Missed deducting the Base Gunner's health (not that it matters from your next post anyway)

The Mettenna2 saw a shadow form above its head. It was quite weird to the virus that it just suddenly formed. Was it a cloud? The Mettenna2 looked up, and in dismay jumped into the air and began to spaz out. It didn't have enough reaction time to dodge out of the way, so it just panicked as the giant Moai head crushed the poor little virus. The other Mettenna2 just stared at its friend, lucky it didn't meet the same fate.

The Goopy was indeed lucky. The Moai Fall landed right on top of it, but it didn't affect it at all. Its Stealth Puddle kept its body mostly underground, and although the attack had breaking attributes, it couldn't pierce it down below in its puddle. The Goopy felt the impact of the Moai head on the ground and began to move horizontally from Exa.

The Base Gunner, still not able to see its opponent, opened fire once again at Exa. However, the Assassin's method of attack allowed all of the shots to pass over his head, giving him a good opening for his Great Axe. The virus was cut in two, still firing off what now seemed like an indefinite round of bullets as its upper half fell to the ground. This one exploded too, since I said so. <_<

The Goopy, now safe from any attacks, raised itself out of its puddle and immediately used its Sticky Rain attack, causing a hard falling rain to fall on Exa. The Mettenna also went on the attack, firing off one of its shockwaves.

-Health: High (10%)
-Element: Aqua

Mettenna2
-Attack: Shockwave (Moderate = 5%)
-Health: Moderate (5%)
-Element: Neutral

OOC: In case you're wondering, I didn't allow the Goopy to be hurt by the attack since I tested it on the game and it didn't hurt it either. Our documentation for the virus says that breaking attacks can hurt it, although it didn't do so in the game. I'll have to talk it over with some of the staff members and clear that up, but for now just see it as a challenge.

OOC: Yay! Back from my trip. Well this battle is basically over, but this is a good chance for character development. Since I stepped out of the battle, do you want to finish it Last?

Fayt stared at the battle. He had found a safe spot and hid. He had started to look over his VG when the sound of the battle drew his attention. The man from before had wave changed and was in the middle of systematically destroying the viruses.

Seraph: "Those clothes look uncomfortable warm."

Fayt groaned. He shook his head and glared at his VG. "Why won't you work!"

BINK BONG Fayt was startled by the noise. "Huh?"

Your Hunter VG upgrade is complete. Please reset your Hunter VG to complete the system upgrade.

Both Fayt and Seraph stared at the little machine in disbelief. "You've got to be kidding me. I almost died because it was trying to reset itself after an update!?"

Resetting the VG and making sure everything was working he held the VG in front of him. "Okay let's get this right this time."

"Denpa Henkan! Fayt Reinchild, On Air!"

Wave Changing back into Holy Seraph he flew back towards the battle ready to fight once more.

((Is that even legal lol? I think down to 2 virii, I can pretty much handle it by now. and Omega, I never expected it to work. It didn't in the game anyway. Consider it a distraction to keep the rain away for a while~))

Exa gritted his teeth when he saw the incoming downpour. Rain didn't bond well with fire, and though he held the BigAx up to shield off the downpour, his fire sizzled from the droplets and he took the STAB damage from the Aqua attack, the portions of his body where water hit sizzling fiercely, even with the halved damage from his Hellfire Cage.

The winter wear didn't help to keep the heat in when he was wet; but thankfully it was already warm to begin with. Sauna-warm. Hmm. Perhaps winter wear wasn't that good after all.

A soaking wet Exa reached out and pointed to a space beside the Aqua virus, summoning a Junkcube which would be attracted by the virus and hopefully charge right into it. Out of the corner of his eye he glimpsed the return of Seraph, and gritted his teeth. Not now! This guy had the audacity to disappear and return as and when he liked? Noticing him about to move into the line of the Metenna's shockwave, Exa moved quickly, mind falling to basic instinct, intercepting the attack on behalf of Seraph after he pushed the angel Wave Warrior out of its way. Cursing some, he threw his BigAx right at the dratted Virus, hoping that his spinning tomahawk would cleave the bugger into two.

"Talk about bad timing!" Exa cursed, back to Seraph. "Now I reccommend getting some distance away from me, imma gonna blow..."

OOC: Hero and I talked about him joining back in here. He's still going to have the same health he had before, but his custom is going to restart.

And I give these viruses two more turns before they're destroyed. Unless I pull what I did on Lelouch.

The Mettenna2's eyes grew wide as it frantically tried to run away from the axe. It stopped, getting an idea. It bent down into its helmet, using it as a shield to block the attack. This had saved many Mettenna's lives, and the virus though it would do the same for it. It was gravely mistaken. The Great Axe spun in such a way that by the time it reached the virus, it sliced the Mettenna2 vertically. The axe seemed to cut through it like butter as it continued to spin off somewhere in the distance. The two Mettenna2 pieces fell apart, exploding shortly afterward. All that was left now was the Goopy.

Speaking of which, the Goopy wasn't in a good situation either. The Junk Cube had formed close to it, but the virus had no idea what it was. In fact, it was going to try to use it to its advantage. It approached the Junk Cube, hoping to use it to separate itself from Exa. That plan would obviously fail, since the Junk Cube just seemed to explode right in front of the virus' face. It jiggled quite a bit from the shrapnel that struck it, disorienting it for just a moment. It gained its composure again, and went back to its old Stealth Puddle tactics. It would need to stay defensive if it hoped to do anything against the Wave Warriors.

"Wha?" HolySeraph was confused. He didn't know what to do. He knew that leaving without saying something probably wasn't the best idea, but...

"Get away from him now!" HS looked down at his gauntlet. "That guy's got dark energy flowing off of him in waves! He's seriously gonna blow!"

Panicking slightly he flew off to the side getting a good big of distance between them, hopefully out of range of the explosion, but not going as far as to lose sight of the virus' area or the other wave being.

He summoned his Cannon just in case the virus wanted to go after him again. Hopefully the guy would take out the virus and then he could apologize for having to leave in the middle of the fight... god he hoped the other wave being wouldn't try to kill him.

((Nah, Omega disappeared for a while too. And what exactly didcha pull on Lelouch?))

"...Good kid." Exa mutterred, watching Seraph scamper out of way in time of his warning. "Now time to--"

An explosion rang out, flames twisting it and wringing around the peeling ground, destroying half the area with its burning fury. The corona of heat washed over Exa, letting his hair writh with fire, and his eyes burned like glowing red coals.

Fortunately, the Goopy had already hid itself, or it might have ate a mouthful of superheated flame. "Time for some fast action..." Prowling forward, Exa summonned a PowerSong so that the Rain attack wouldn't affect him if the Goopy attacked him the next turn, so that he could focus on taking it out. His hand writhed with snakelike tendrils of drakness, formed of his own blood, only waiting for the Goopy to emerge before they shot out and finished it.

OOC: Well...considering this circumstance, doing the same thing I did for him would be awkward and annoying. I was trying to teach him a lesson in regards to RPing, so I made it slightly more difficult for him. If you want to see details, click here.

Anyway, since there are two of you now, I'll speed this along and let you RP.

The Goopy might of been safe from the Hellfire Cage's explosion, but even it could feel the roaring flames of the attack. It began to back away, trying to give itself as much distance from Exa as it could. However, it its retreat, it slowly began to make its way toward Holy Seraph. It backed up to a point that it was right by the Wave Warrior, although the virus had no clue he was so close to him. It wouldn't matter either way, since it planned to attack Exa once again. Another rain cloud formed over the winter-ready fighter as the Goopy revealed itself once again. The rain pelted down hard over Exa, still oblivious of HS.

HolySeraph's eyes widened at the sight of the blaze. He could feel Seraph shiver inside his gauntlet. "That would have hurt."

He was surprised when the Goopy popped up in front of him and tried to attack the other wave being. Grinning at the chance, he fired his Cannon at the back of the virus. Then he charged forward, his gauntlet became enveloped in fire as he activated his Heat Upper 1 card. Swinging upward he couldn't help but yell out as he attacked.

((I suppose I'm just about done, with HS half-guaranteed SF finisher.))

"Wow...." Exa mutterred, staring at the flaming fist of HS. "Was that street fighter? Retro rocks..." And just then the Bloody Reaper as mentioned before snaked towards the Goopy, deceptively fast, aiming to strike down the Aqua creature before the rain fell. But because of lag the rain fell anyway, and Exa quickly learnt rainy season does not equals to winter season. A splash of rainwater hit him, eating away like acid, and he winced. Not pretty. And just when the PowerSOng was snoozing, too.

"...Okay...are we done yet over there?" He called over to the angelic Wave Warrior, surveying the damage, seeing if the Goopy was still alive.

Exa's attack actually reached the Goopy before the Cannon blast as fired. It fell victim to the bloody shadows as it began to explode like the other viruses had. Both of HS's attacks hit the now dieing Goopy, but really wouldn't do much since Exa had delivered the final blow.

The viruses were now gone. Now their presence won't bother whatever character development (if any) goes on between Exa and HS.
