Adria realized she had just made an assumption! It was never said that the sundae was hers... Now Adria felt bad. She had deprived someone of their sundae... If that was going to be the case, she did want to eat it anymore... Well, she did want to, but she wouldn't... Adria: "I'm sorry! I just jumed to conclusions. I'll let you enjoy it. I'll just have a strawberry milkshake." Adria ordered the milkshake. One desert was as good as another. Especially in this case since sundaes and milkshakes are so similar. Adria watched Era drink his [alcoholic beverage] as she wondered whether the whole going on his tab only counted for the sundae. At any rate, Adria realized she had to be getting home soon. Adria: "I think I should go soon. I'll just have my milkshake and leave you." Adria grabs the the milkshake once the order's up. She drinks it quickly at first, but begins to slow down about a fourth of the way down. She winces... It's a brain freeze... Edited by A-Coya, Sep 5 2009, 12:13 PM.

OOC: don't worry. I'm pretty laidback of casual RPs like this. "Kind of a good kid, huh?" Era smiled gently at Adria, turning to Knight for confirmation. "But that does make mee feel a little... how would I put it? Guilty, I suppose. I haven't paid you back in full for helping me out just now. It's hard to see a friendly face or find a helping hand these days." With another brave chuck, he took down nearly all of the beer. "...Well. You can have the sundae too if you like. I don't think it merits full payment, but... haha. That's fair enough a trade to be done." Mulling over things for awhiel as the boy swirled what remianed in his mug idly. He suddenly brought up another impromptu idea out of nowhere as Adria hit the brainfreeze. "Say, wanna be Brothers? That way, I can keep in touch in you and maybe bring you out somewhere really great to say my thanks. ...And, Brothers, man...don't you think that's such a sexist term?" He let out a laugh, carefree and rumbling. |

Adria recovered from the brain freeze. Sh drank her milkshake slowly, mulling the idea over in her head... She had been offered a brother request before, but had turned it down... She supposed this meritted formation of a brother band. She made up her mind quickly. Adria: "How about you just pay for this milkshake and we'll call it even, brother!" She said this while doing a lame thumbs-up as a sign of acceptance... Although she wasn't quite sure how to form a brother band... She voiced this concern. Adria: "Except... I don't know how to form a brother band..." |

Era waved the proposal aside casually. "It's already on my tab. Right, ossan?" The bartender gave a grunt that was half-affirmation and half-murder. Era chugged down the last of his beer. "It's easy, see. You got the updates for your VG, right? Well, I'm still using an old-school Carrier, but never mind. Look we just hit this...and that..." Tapping away at buttons and keys to and fro from Adria's and his own comms, he soon established a network between them and a popup asking for acceptance soon appeared on Adria's VG screen. "There. Now all you have to do is accept me. ...of course, Wave Warrior-to-Wave Warrior... your Knight may get some access to a few of my choice select chips. Brother Cards, I believe. They're a tad... strong. But I hope they suit your flavor." |

Adria was still a little confused... She just did what she knew she had to do, but she wasn't quite sure it would work. She pressed the acceptance button and registered Era as her brother. She could see all kinds of new things about him. Now she saw what he had meant by using his cards... Adria: "Whoa...!" Obviously she hadn't expected such a bonus. Now she felt bad as her cards were inferior. She wanted to change them, but didn't know how and started fooling around with her VG. She was so into updating her VG that she forgot about the sundae. |

| Era smiled at the girl as the deal was done. He fingered through the Brother contents for a moment- well, this was supposed to give him some power anyway- and nodded, satisfied. Looking up back at Knight, he smiled and nodded. "Your guardian will be wanting to take you home now. It is getting quite late." Returning his attention to the bar, where a new mug of stout lay refilled. he put his head down, as if dozing off, eyes closed peacefully. "You should go now. Catch you around some time." |

Adria: *Stands up* "Yes. It is getting late. I'll see you around then." Adria got up and left the bar. It was good day in the end. She had just made her first brother afterall! Knight was quietly pleased that everything went well and that Adria was happy. They two went home for the night. |
