EXE universe = SF universe?

Okay, word of god (Acora) has said it is, but Word of Zeus (Omega) says it isn't. To make matters worse, Word of Osiris has said that it is, and then said that it isn't, and then said that it IS.

I want to come to some concrete conclusion. Capcom is marketing SF as EXE's sequel series, but... well, does that apply HERE?

Star Force does indeed come after EXE of course. Its based off of the same world, however it is NOT the same. EXE used more internet related activities and such with Navis to fight viruses found on the internet. Star Force deals with Radio Waves and fighting viruses through that (which doesn't make much sense, but its obvious its pointing to EXE in this matter). Linking these two into one doesn't work, seeing that the only references to EXE in SF are continents and PETs that are found in the trash. There really is no connection between these two, and as far as I'm concerned they need to stay separated.

Here's a better example. Everyone knows the original Megaman, right? Megaman X is essentially a sequel to that, as is Megaman Zero. Each of those worlds has their own concepts and their own world essentially, even if they all follow a timeline. There are references to Megaman in Megaman X, but not alot (and even those only make sense because they're robots). They are still connected and can be referred to each other, but how many Megaman characters do you see walking around in Megaman X?

Conclusion: The Star Force world should remain its own, as should EXE. But thats just my thoughts, especially considering the 100+ year gap.

So, what your saying is that they are the same world in different technological eras. Because the way you are saying it makes it sound like you're saying they are both the same world and not at the same time. Unless you mean it is an alternate dimension. But I think my version makes more sense...

Oh, yeah, and whether or not it's the same world has nothing to do with the characters. That's like saying Earth is not Earth when it existed before we were alive or that, if it still exists after our lives, it will no longer be Earth after we are gone. It'll still be the same world. It'll just be without us.

Has it been announced that there is indeed a connection? And vice-versa?

Until then, it is in one timeline which can only be described as now.

Star Force 2's MMBN insertion bonus. You go around collecting pages of adult Lan's diary, telling the story of what happened after the EXE series ended. In one part, Lan discovers that the Link between NetOp and NetNavi gives them Power.

So yeah, it's the same universe all right.

Let me make this simpler...

This is like Megaman X. EXE is like Megaman. How many concepts do you see in Megaman X (or characters for that matter) that you see in Megaman? Not many. Yes, they're linked, but having your character link back to EXE is just like linking a Megaman character in Megaman X.

... Which is done with so much frequency that I think your analogy fails. Here's a better one.

We are MMZ. EXE is MM. How often do you see links from MMZ to MM?

It is implied, but never truly been clarified. It's hard to prove wrong though, I'll say that.

Well, they must be planning on making one PRETTY close to the other for MegaMan.EXE Operate Shooting Star (Probably going to be MegaMan Battle Network, Operation Star Force.) because if they don't, it's gonna be weird.

Giant time gaps have never stopped Capcom. If anything, they'll be playing with the dimensional business they keep bringing up in Star Force. Its going to be pretty weird and lame IMO.

It's Capcom. What else's new?

I'm looking at Resident Evil as berserk says 'It's Capcom' <.< I mean, REALLY! Where the hell are the zombies in Megaman?!

If you look hard enough, there's a zombie doll in Geo's room. It should be right by his bed, and if you search it, it makes a comment about Resident Evil. Its also how you can get Mummy Hand X.

Have you searched for 'Megaman Dead Rising' on youtube?

Yeah. That was my response too.
