Please feel free to comment on any of my stories in this section. Simply reply to this post. Critiques are welcome, just don't be too harsh or else Caitlin will come and get you. I particularly enjoying writing stories, and the contest forum at InSim has been a wonderful place for me to explore that further. It is my intention to create characters that you will remember for at least a little while and stories that will entertain you. Please enjoy what you find here. ~ Syn |

You really know how to portray a vampire. You seem to caught the right mixture of viciousness and sensitivity to make it simply wonderful. Great stories! ~dizi |

Thanx Dizi. I've always liked vampires and have been intoxicated by their allure. But it really wasn't until I saw Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and the Underworld films that I really realized how they are people too. Before that they were just just monsters. So that's kinda what I try to portray when I set out to write a tale about vampires. ~ Syn |

*Sigh* Yes, DutchXfan, you saw LBB meshes. A certain someone has been teasing me with information on more LBBs and... I see them, I know they are out there, but its like they are just beyond my reach, taunting me... It's sad really. *Sigh* ~dizi |

Mean, mean Syn! Teasing us like that. We want to play with the LBB, too. *pouts* In the meantime, I've been reading The Saga of Synapse. Lovely story. And I can't help but grin every time Emma makes jokes about Jean's death(s). Heheheh. Awesome. I really like Synapse's name. I understand where it comes from now. He's a cute boy. Does he look like you, Syn? |

Feedback for LOST: A Tale of Nathan Underwood. Man, I loved this story. I love Lost, so I was excited to see so many references. Nate/Daniel is a cutie. The pics were awesome. The black smoke, the other effects... cool! And another LBB mesh, I see. Again, mean Syn! Keeping them all to yourself. Tsssk! You're a very good story teller, Syn. I'm in awe of your many talents. Thank y'all so much. I really enjoyed re-reading the All-Alone story. I'm going to get back into the Saga of Synapse as soon as I can. But I'm going to have at least 3 chapters done before I release the first one, so I can have a head start on them. In other story news, I relocated a short story I wrote back in the 8th Grade. I think I'm going to treat it as an outline and start the story over again, and perhaps use the sims to illustrate it. It's a thriller/horror type story, and one that has stuck with me, well, since 8th Grade. ~ Syn |

Romeo and Juliet was a great read and the pictures were wonderfully taken! Where did you get the costumes and hair? They were fantastic as well. |

Your burnt skin mesh (or whatever you call it) was awesome. I think it looked fantastic on Romeo, but very good on Juliet as well. |

I just sat down last night and read all your stories. I must say I didn't expect Romeo and Juliet but that was fantastic as well as your others. I'm curious, though, did you use Ripp Grunt as your base for Synaps? I like the character development. I must say being on this board has really brought home how much I have missed by being out of the comic book world. I really must do something about that.

Thanx Curly. Wow, that was quite a lot of reading you did, lol. I had to look up who Ripp Grunt was, so I can decisively say no, I didn't use him as a base, since I didn't know who he was. I don't really play with the maxis made families. I never have really, in Sims 1 Betty and Bob? the tutorial sims were always the first ones to get deleted, lol. I do see the similarities though. I used Bodyshop to create Synapse, and it's possible I used the same template as Ripp, but it was coincidental. Synapse is a character I've had since 2000, I made him when the first X-Movie came out and I joined a club that spun off on it's own RPG. You wouldn't believe everything I've put him through in these 9 years. I hope to get more into him and possible restart his series and stay more true to his first origin. What you see in the stories here are slightly tweaked versions because they started out as contest entries and had specific requirements. I want to start over fresh and new with him. ~ Syn |

I've sort of compensated for not having superheros in my adult life by jumping into the sims and being techno slow I stuck with the original game for a long time and didn't make more than one family of my own and they all died while I learned the game so it was a little traumatic. When I found the Grunt family and Strangetown it was as close as I was going to get to superheros, I thought. I have always felt sorry for Ripp, and it seems like I'm not the only one that emphasizes with him so I spotted the resemblance. But I like the other version of Synapse to which is why he will have a few seconds of video in my new story. The Han Hawk character is from the Ripp that I extracted from the game using SimPe I was so proud even if someone head to basically hold my hand through the first one. |
