I am proud to announce our first Member and Couplet of the Fortnight.

Just so everyone knows, Member of the Month goes to a person who had been extremely active in putting up interesting posts within the past few weeks. Couplet of the month goes to two or more characters for their excellent topic.

Okay everyone, here's the deal. We want to add some flair to the normal ideas of what Hogwarts is so we're adding a place for adults. As the beginnings of a plot, war has erupted throughout the magical world, displacing hundreds of witches and wizards. Anybody wishing to rp as an adult that has lost their home or safety due to the war is welcome to. Each adult will receive their own cottage that is password protected. There is a second application for adults that is beneath the normal student one. Be sure to fill that one out over the student one, if you wish to be an adult.

Eventually, as more members become active, we will add Death Eaters as a category for application. They will be scouring the school in disguise to prey on innocent victims. So there's kind of a Benedict Arnold thing going on. We will also be implementing a canon rp section and adult occupations such as Auror.

So as for the war thing, you already know war is going on. The main war is over, but there are still smaller battles being fought around the world, enough to create chaos in the magical community. After the fall of Voldemort, a power struggle erupted among the Death Eater families. Unfortunately, innocent lives were getting caught in the crossfire until Harry Potter and Dumbledore's Army joined forces against the leacherous enemy. After years of war, a new generation has risen in 2008 to wreak havoc against inhabitants who are not directly involved with the war. Hogwarts, however, stands as a safe beacon to any who wish to just live their lives normally. Attached to the grounds are newly built cottages for any adults or townfolk seeking refuge. When you apply for your character and if you want to be an adult, use the second application underneath the student one.

Hello guys. If you want to teach a class, this is the place for you.
We're thinking about special awards for being a professor so that will come in the future.

As A Professor:
- You must keep your class active, if you don't, well your position will be revoked.
- Award house points based on merit. If we see you randomly giving it out to your friends, well once again your class will be revoked.
- Have realistic expectations of your class. For instance if you tell people that they must PM you a two page disseration on Flubberworm Mucus, don't be surprised or upset if people do not do it.
- Are allowed to give homework and bonus questions, and give house points for those who PM you it.
