Carlisle United have been handed a trip to mega-rich Championship side QPR in the Carling Cup – the third time in as many years they have faced a team managed by Iain Dowie in the second round.

After ties against Charlton and Coventry in the last two seasons, the Blues will again lock horns with former Northern Ireland international Dowie at Loftus Road.
