well i would say wednesday need a keeper as lucas appears to have turned down his contract and i reckon carrson wont come back after his world cup shennanigans. so.....who? |

i agree ian, plus he genuinely seemed to enjoy his time at owlie babes, and was grateful for the opportunity to show what he could do. look at the games he played, and our run in result... there was back scratching all round!!! but i'm worried he or his agent or however may think he needs a bigger stage to maintain an international push....... although clearly it doesn't get any better or bigger than the mighty owls!!! |

you got one as well..?? we've got a couple of full welsh internationals (not current squad) both called roberts and unrelated... and a scottish "futures" international to boot..!! |

chris brunt is pretty much full time in senior squad now. young fella and built like a pipe cleaner! gifted wee fella, but i'd like to see him put a pound or two on! he ws our top scorer last season... <don't ask how many.... as i'll only whisper> |

how many ..?? lol... we had heffernan on 14 (?) until he got injured february ish... and macindoe on about the same mostly penalties, until he fell out with mr penney... |

off top of my empty head........... whispers....... 8....... we sort that out, and we'll be able to strut ourstuff mid table. i get the impression pauly is building a slightly defensive dominant team, although i could be talking crap! but if mcclean can do what he did our promotion season, and mid field chip in with their 8's i'll be happy as an owl in a cheese factory! always good to have a good penalty man, look at andrew johnson... he's earning a penny or two from being good from the spot! |

so far we've acted quickly and got 3 defenders and a defensive midfielder - horlock... we need more firepower too... last 2 seasons we've not scored enough... so much so that we've actually lost games that on performance (judged by opposing fans too) we should have won..!! |

many will be expecting play-offs at least... and yes a heavy scorer (do I mean trundle lol..??) would help.. as for me, I'm just glad that my club can compete... not many years ago we were almost dead, so to comeback to be in the hunt at the right end of L1 isn't too bad... I am not too worried about promotions, there's more important things in life, but to play well irrespective of the results, is what I expect... |
