Has been at Valley Parade for TWO YEARS

The longest since Paul Jewell in 1998

Previous Managers (from memory)

Nicky Law: January 2002-November 2003

Jim Jeffries: November 2000-December 2001

Chris Hutchings: June 2000-November 2000

Paul Jewell: January 1998-May 2000

Chris Kamara: February 1996: January 1998

Colin will be likely to last longer than any of these previous managers.

I say keeping a manager longer than a couple of seasons is a good thing

With Brentford, Northampton, Nottingham Forest, Tranmere getting new managers - it increases the chances for teams like Huddersfield, Bradford and Doncaster who have built a side challenging for promotion as they have the nucleus of the squad and are under a routine.

That £10 accy of Huddersfield, Bradford and Doncaster is more likely to pay out.

I agree. Keeping a manager for a few seasons is a good thing. The only time I think they should get sacked is if they don't look like there good enoguh to progress the team to a higher league. Or somone who can not work with his team. As that brings bad morale around the squad I reckon.
