There are another 2 Barnsley fans signed up to the forum.

Hello;

Nobody signed as of yet, just contracts offered to 6 players out of contact. Although we're not going to splash the cash heavily i don't think it'll bother Richie he's already stated he wants to keep faith with the side which won us promotion with just a couple of additions. I'd rather get relegated with the same team than end up with the same problems that we had a couple of years ago with administration, we're only just starting to break even.

Yes I heard that you are supposed to be £5m in debt still. At least the step up should bridge that with more tv money and higher attendances. It'll be interesting to see how many you get next season through the gates.

I think with the bigger away attendances and a few other fans returning regularly we might be able to average 12k.

Best first day season ticket sales since they went on sale for the premiership season.

I think you might be looking at more than that. I reckon the average away attendance at yours will be another 2,000 at least so you should be able to get about 13,000. Interesting to see who get teh bigger attendances next season. Barnsley or Huddersfield.

I'd expect Barnsley and Huddersfields attendances to be similar although i suppose alot could depend on where your challenging although i expect you to be their or their abouts again.

Yeah last season we averaged 13,100 without the play-off game considered and I thought that was great support. It may fall a bit this time though but like you say it depends on how we are doing. Another season another tale...will it turn out a good one though? The fans wont settle for anything less than promotion this time.
