 A reported £10m treble swoop for West Brom's Ellington, Gera and Davis has been rejected. Thats quite a lot of money to turn down! Would they have been good additions for Wigan and will they be back with an improved offer?

 Cheeky bid in my opinion. All three would have been fantastic additions. Davies is worth £5m, Ellington £3m-£3.5m and Gera around £3.5m, so it was cheeky to say the least.

I can't see Wigan landing Davies as Arsenal are reportedly chasing him. Ellington and Gera would be welcome additions though.

 I think many West Brom fans rate Davis at about £7m. Has Luton got a sell-on clause in this as well?

Its good to see that West Brom want to keep their best players though - not many would reject £10m for 3 players in the championship.
