This is a sad day for english football. Henry is a fantastic player, one of the worlds best and its a shame we wont see his talents week in, week out. Whoever you support you can only admire a player of his calibre.

At least we'll be able to see him on Spanish football on sundays. :)

 Yes we will. A shame though that the British game has lost an ambassador even though he wasnt British. He fitted the bill perfectly as a role model for kids. Have you ever seen a story about Henry that wasnt about football in the papers? I dont recall any....

I think he genuinely loved Engand as much as England loved him!!

So do I,he seems a geniunly nice bloke.

He gave praise to all English fans in the paper today.And remembered with particular fondness the standing ovasion he got from Portsmouth fans after he played a good game at Pompey.

That sort of thing only happens in our game. :)

He gave praise to all English fans in the paper today.And remembered with particular fondness the standing ovasion he got from Portsmouth fans after he played a good game at Pompey.

That sort of thing only happens in our game. :)

Pompey fans were also signing "HENRY TO POMPEY" that day!! :lol:

Shame he hasnt got a proper goodbye, also a shame we are playing Arsenal nexdt pre-season and they are sending their best team to play us. At this rate we will be better than them! :lol:
