The players you have brought in seem good. Mendes with us was hit and miss but when he was on form he looked a really good player (at League one level). Parkinon also looks like he'll get goals for you too and any team that has goals in it will normally do quite well. |

Parkinson had a few months on loan with us a couple of years ago and I was sad to see him go.And the few times he was on TV last year for Grimsby were good games too. The Notts Mad site seems to be happy with the signings now,though there was uproar when Thompson got the job as he was part of a double act( Colin Murphy)who got us relegated in the nineties.Though the previous year they got us into the play off final against Bradford(lost 2-0 I think).So not all bad news. |

Well with 8 new faces in the starting line up and a 2000 following,everyone was waiting for a cracking start to the new season. How wrong could we be as Lincoln totally dominated the first 45. The second half was a totally different story.With Jason Lee and dudfield replaced by the pacey duo of N'toya and Mendes we ripped them apart and got an equalizer. 1-1 was a fair result,but it looks likes we are going to take gelling. :) |

Tough one today. :unsure: Thompson is still struggling to find his best front two from N'Toya,Mendes,Dudfield and Jason lee. Myself for this one I'd go for plenty of pace. N'Toya and Mendes and run at them. |

An excellent performance this afternoon especially first half.When we were well in control.As happens many times after losing a player,Wycombe made more of a fist of it the second half with Betsy and Easter looking threatening. We had a few chances to finish the game off but as always Notts like to keep thier fans hearts in thier mouths. In all a great three points for us,though the Chairboys didnt seem to be the team of last year. |

dunce, i saw matt somner got booked for you today. is he playing in defence or midfield for you, as at cambridge thommo always thought somner was a midfielder. i also thought thommo was an inept manager. i also think thommo being at a club nicknamed the pies is the funniest thing in the world for the precise three seconds i chuckled at it. in conclusion goodnight. |
