American whizz kid Freddy Adu is hoping for a big move next summer after revealing he is in talks with Chelsea and Manchester United.

The DC United sensation has long been linked with a switch to The Premiership and is expected to leave MLS before he finishes his teenage years.

Adu has also been tracked by Real Madrid, with the 17-year-old confirming he has been holding talks with the Spanish giants.

The midfielder has also spoken to Premiership big guns Chelsea and United as he nears a decision on his future.

He is assessing the offers open to him and he feels he will be in a position to pick his next club some time before the summer.

"I am still talking to Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as Real Madrid," Adu is quoted in the Daily Star.

"I am looking forward to getting my opportunity with the team that offers me the best deal.

"Hopefully it will happen next year."

Wether he could cut it in the premiership or not I don't know. i think too much has been placed on him if im honest. I couldn't see him doing as well in England as he does in america as it is alot tougher over here.

This lad has been touted as the best thing since sliced bread for the last 3/4 years. Be good to get a proper look at him.

I'd urge him, go to United!

The style of MLS is very similar to English Football and it would suit Freddy to a tee.

is he??

To be honest I don't think Manchester need any more strikers. They have enough already.

I guess it would be nice to see if he can perform upto the premiership as a fair few foreigners don't manage to. loock at Schev as an example.

I think he will struggle personally and I also think he will be better going to a lowish team in the premiership.

Freddie is a winger, seen him play in regional final of the MLS championship v New England revolution. Got pace and control on him but he is no different to Jermaine Johnson.
