Charlton have announced that manager Iain Dowie has left the club.
The 41-year-old Dowie took over from long-standing boss Alan Curbishley in the summer and has only been in charge for 12 Premiership games.

But the Addicks have only won two league matches and are bottom of the table with eight points.

The former Crystal Palace boss did lead Charlton into the Carling Cup quarter-finals last week, but they lost 3-2 at Wigan on Saturday.

The club said on their website that they would make a full statement on Tuesday morning.

Dowie is the first Premiership manager to lose his job this season.

Agreed Hazzi,he is not liked for what he did to Palace

Something must be really wrong for Charlton...who are known for being loyal to managers...... to get rid so quickly.
I don't suppose we will ever be told the full story. <_<

I am of the opinion that Dowie will end up at Newcastle and Newell at Charlton.

Should I be brave and back my hunch at the bookies?

Problem is that I'm never brave enough to back any of my hunches.

Told a mate one the other year and he followed it, he actually put £50 on it. At half time in the deciding match he was texting me, pulling his hair out! At the end of the game he loved me! - Liverpool won Champions Lge Final and I called it at the end of the group stages!

All I can possibly reveal is that the first five numbers will be between 1 and 50 and, here's the absolute clincher - there WILL NOT be a number that's duplicated! :o

The Perfect Weekend =

Euro Millions Lottery Win,
24pts on the pools coupons,
Main Lottery win, and

a pound at the bookies to say that you were going to do it! B)

Imagine the odds!
