After reading the Sunday Express over the weekend there was an interesting table that showed you how many players were foriegn in the prem squads compared to british players and I thought the Arsenal team is absoloutly disgusting.

The table is as follows.

Key Sq (Squad Total), F (Foreign Total), % (Percentage of Foreigners).

Code:

                  SQ   F     %
1. Arsenal    28   24   85
2. Liverpool  36   24   67
3. Chelsea   26   17   65
4. Bolton      37   22   59
5. Blackburn 31  17   55
6. Man UTD  30   16   53
7. Fulham     34   18   53
8. Pompey    33   17   52
9. Man City   26   12   46
10. Newcastle 28  13   46
11. Spurs       34  15   44
12. Aston V    23  10   43
13. Boro        31   13   42
14. Wigan      26   11   42
15. Everton    23   10   40
16. Reading   33    13   39
17. Birm'ham 27    10   37
18. West Ham 34    9    26
19. Sund'land 29    7     24
20. Derby       29    4    14

I thought it would have been worser than that but that is besides the point in my opinion. How on earth Arsenal can only have 4 English players out of a total of 28 players is a joke to me. Every team should include at least 6 British people in the starting line-up for me.
