30 days to go now until the Semi Final
Curent form updates suggest that STOCKPORT COUNTY have actually already won the Trophy.
In order to help the 7 smaller clubs still involved in the Trophy Stockport have generously agreed to play the remaining fixtures
:D You always raise a smile from me Mr Daly.Your confidence is second to none. :drink:
ever so slightly misplaced confidence, but I agree 2nd to none!!
Thank you. For my Xmas present Mrs Daly has got me a " SCFC JP Trophy Winners 2007/08 " tatoo on my right bum cheek. I look forward to flashing this for you all in the not too distant future
JP Form UPDATE :
Stockport continued their relentless march to JP glory by finishing 2nd at Shrewsbury Town on Boxing Day. This came hard on the heels of the excellent 1-1 home draw with Grimsby Town on Dec 23rd. The sides meet again on Jan 8th in the JP Trophy Northern Semi. After their 1-1 battering ( which Stockport secured with an 83rd mninute equalizer ) Grimsbys coach driver was overheard saying something along the lines of " Yeah no problem Alan ( Buckley Grimsby manager ) on Jan 8th I'll take a wrong turn just after Huddersfield. We'll end up in Carlisle and by the time we get to Stockport it'll be gone midnight. We'll be able to concede the game and avoid the embarrassment of the inevitable 12-0 hammering at the hands of Stockport "
Northern Final rivals ( after Grimsby are disposed of ) Morecambe warmed up for their Final defeat by Stockport with 2 victories scoring just 8 goals in the process.

I take it you mean 2 games in hand on 21st place Bournemouth ?
Win those 2 and your relegation fears could almost be over.
best of luck and
Good night
