BBC Radio Sheffield understands the club have been denied another extension to their notice of intent to go into administration by the courts. Rotherham owe hundreds of thousands of pounds to the Inland Revenue. The points penalty will see Rotherham drop to 11th, six points off the play-offs with eight games to go. How many more clubs will this happen to?

How many more clubs will this happen to? I couldn't believe that when I heard it, thats twice in 2years for them :( So many clubs this has happened to this season.

To me its just another club living beyond their means. Spending money they dont have to try and get a qwuick return to League 1 I have sympathy for the fans as its not their fault. At least they'll not suffer too much as Rotherham were slipping out of the play offs anyway
