Good point, I feel sorry for the bloke that was in charge of them before Jewell, i forget his name now, but he admitted he didnt want them to go and that they weren't ready... but who loses the playoffs on purpose because they dont want to go up...tricky situation...
....just a shame they didnt hold off and try this season to get promoted, they would have had a much stronger squad to compete next year!
Exactly....
Now they can come back down to The Championship with all the money they have made and look to stenghten the squad and work for promotion again next season :o

They dont have any money though! The previous manager spent all the money they gained from going up during last summer. Jewell will have to be very sneaky in the transfer market if Derby are gonig to recover!

Don't you think they can recover from this?
They are the only team to have 11 points at the end of a season aren't they/.

Yeah.. Lowest points total to season in the Premiership at least, not sure of other leagues though.
I personally think they'll do alright to come mid table next season!! They will sell a few of the quality players they have, and buy some more good quality players with that money... I dont see them being spectacular though.

Why do you think I want you to get promoted so badly ;)
Kidding haha!
I dont think City will cut it in the Prem either...but then anything could happen, you are solid enough team, a few defenders, midfielders, strikers, and another goalie and you could compete :P

Cheeky sod
In all honesty I don't think we will do it.......I'd still go to Wembley though if we get that far :o
I'd be happy for us to have another season in The Championship......One season there isn't enough for us I don't think. :ph43r:
We have a pretty good squad at the moment, I know for a fact that SL will pay out what ever money is needed to strenghten our squad.

Ahh as long as you have the resources you'll be fine... I think!
Like you said, one more season in the championship to strengthen, then you could seriously cut it in the Prem! But you may fade away in the Championship next season, so many teams do it! :(

We'll just have to wait and see.....
So many teams move up and come straight back down again, that's why I think we need another season. :ph43r:
